Pretty much all superhero suits are padded going back to Raimi's Spider-Man. Regardless of the shape the actor is in, the materials used for film superhero suits are highly constricting and basically flatten and smooth everything out. Making the actor looks less physically impressive than they are. They add muscle suit underneath to prevent that effect.

I do hope he bulks up in the sequels.

I have to admit that after Bale's dedication to getting in shape for the role, I'm a little disappointed that Pattinson isn't in better shape. He doesn't even look like he is in same shape as Bale for TDKR, when was playing an atrophied retired Bruce. Although not everything, physicality is an important part of the role given that Batman's whole schtick is being trained to peak human fitness.

Batman should at least look like he can toss 200lb plus men around like nothing. He doesn't need to look like the hulk but at least have a fighters body. He looks 175-180ish. I can't believe someone built like an ambercrobie model can beat someone that looks like Anthony Joshua. Hell even Bruce Lee was a super jacked 155-160. How is it he looks bigger than Pattinson. I can handle a thin superman, but batman is supposed to be a world class fighter. Even in his early days he should look like a light heavyweight. It's just not believable.

You guys forgot that this Batman (In this movie at least) won't be fighting people like The Arkham Games. This movie will Focus on Batman's detective skills, so I think some of you have to stop asking for something that Reeves probably doesn't want to do yet.
