Robert Pattinson IS The Batman

Oh, God, if Reeves does Matches Malone or an ecquivelant I will be on cloud nine. He doesn't even need to be exactly that, but just the central idea of it would be great.

I wanna see Bruce enact disguises!
I literally was just thinking about Matches Malone this morning. it'd be amazing if they went that route and its something we haven't seen.

Nicholas Hoult must feel even worse about losing out on Batman now, considering the reaction to his current superhero film...

They’re going to have to put some sort of embargo on it. It’ll be a nightmare for Rob and Chris otherwise...

“So Tenet is great, but how buff are you getting for Batman?”
“Have you asked Chris for any advice about being Batman?”
“Tenet’s story is good, but have you seen the script for Batman?”

“Chris... do you think Robert will make a good Batman?”
“Have you given Robert any advice about being Batman?”
“Is his Batman going to be anything like yours?”
“Do you think he’ll be as good as Christian?”

...and so on and so forth.
At this point I think Pattinson will just be happy he isn't asked about Twilight or his personal life.

It’s definitely time we saw something like this. Batman’s abilities at disguise have never been featured in a movie, and it would fit in perfectly with the noirish detective story. Matches would be great, but I’d take any sequence of Bruce infiltrating some location heavily disguised as someone else.

... Hell, that's actually not a bad comparison at all. Had not thought to think of why Reeves might think back to Pattinson's performance as Connie like that, other than because it was a stunning performance, but it totally works.

Consider this Snyder BvS Batfleck fan impressed! Can't wait to see what else Battinson has to offer.

The Rover, High Life, Cosmopolis, Damsel, and The Lost City of Z are Next on My watch list.

Definitely can't wait to see Battinson behind the cape and cowl now.

Saying stop while you give like to that post. ha

Anyways...., There are like 4 movies before Tenet, his agenda is full and busy
Only because A24 is indie it doesn't mean that they don't promote + festivals. A Netflix movie this year
And fanboys now will hype another netflix movie Devil All the Time only by the fact features Batman, Spiderman and Winter Soldier. He'll avoid the questions probably.

Talking about Devil All the Time, it's the 3rd movie with RP and Mia together. I guess Matt wouldn't like to repeat cast, but they have good chemistry and she's talented and an unusual pick for Catwoman. It would've been cool

The thought of next years comic-con giving us a teaser is giving me hope and a smile on my face. Depression sucks but I'm trying to find positives to continue the fight.

Sorry to hear you’re suffering. Do you have people to talk to about it, and help? I sincerely hope you have  And I think the build up to this film is going to lift the spirits of all of us Batman fans :D

If we trust Sebastian Stan reaction he'll good here.
And the ones who want Riley Keough as Catwoman will have their first glimpse here if she gets casted

Ben Affleck's The Town acting was absolutely nothing impressive whatsoever.
I actually disagree with that. I think Affleck is a pretty below average and at times, even a bad actor but The Town was the exception. He was superb in that, the character of Doug is supposed to be this empty, emotionally void and depressed character who in a way is just trying to keep up appearances with his crew of whom he feels distanced from etc. I think Affleck absolutely nailed the character and he damn sure nailed the film as a whole. Those action sequences are shot incredibly well! His best work acting and directing wise.

I wouldn't oppose seeing Matches make his appearance, even if he doesn't show up dying in this story.

Actually... this might be the kind of movies that require using him as a disguise.

I like his acting in Argo and Gone Girl.

Time Out published their list of 100 best movies of all time. The Dark Knight is #15 on this list.

The 100 best movies of all time

Christopher Nolan’s brooding, expansive Batman sequel fuses the comic-book flick with the crime epic, and delivers something truly special: a pop spectacle with passages of surprisingly potent despair. The film’s runaway box-office success, along with its critical acclaim, made it a phenomenon that reshaped Hollywood. There’s a reason why superhero movies are taken so seriously nowadays—even by the Oscars—and this is basically it.—Bilge Ebiri

Yep. It's the only cbm that ever makes it into these kinds of lists. Perceived as being a truly important piece of cinema, which is only right and proper.
Agreed. It's a masterpiece in every sense of the word. Easily one of the greatest films ever made
