Disney CGI movie doesn't have to be bad-- Bolt was surprisingly good. However, this is a Zemeckis performance capture movie we're talking about, and that pretty much means it's doomed before they even start making it.

i think that's the charm of it. If it goes onto CGI then you'll lose some of that workman like animation. If Pixar were doing this, I wouldn't mind.

i can't stand the motion capture thing....beowulf was meh....and the other motion capture stuff i have seen is mediocre at best. i'd rather they do live action instead of motion capture on the whole and i think it is ludicrous do remake yellow submarine, especially in this fashion.
