JORDAN: Well, Steven Caple Jr. is going to direct it, and Im really excited about working with him. Right now, were in the process of getting the script tight and making sure that its perfect.
DEADLINE: Have you penciled in a start date for production?
JORDAN: Not exactly sure when were starting, but in the next few months well get back to it and try to deliver a solid project in Creed 2.

Also reprising their roles from the first film are Tessa Thompson as Bianca, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne, Wood Harris as Tony Little Duke Burton, and Andre Ward as Danny Stuntman Wheeler. The new cast is rounded out with Florian The Big Nasty Munteanu as Viktor Drago, Dolph Lundgren returning to the role of Ivan Drago, and Russell Hornsby as Buddy Marcelle.

Nice, was one of my few disappointments with Creed that he wasn't in it, felt weird having him be absent considering what Rocky was going through in the film.
That probably could have been spoiler tagged but it's also too early to tell whether that's actually a spoiler since [BLACKOUT] he might be a big part of marketing this movie due to This Is Us being one of the biggest shows on TV. Either way, I'm really glad to see him back since his absence in Creed was noticable given Rocky's cancer diagnosis. [/BLACKOUT]
Seems Rocky is visiting him this movie so they can have their moment(s) in this one.
