Rogen and Goldberg to write Simpsons episode

Is it gonna be like one of those Ricky Gervais things, where they kinda come up with the main story and let the regular writers write it, or are they actually gonna write the whole shebang?

I'll tune in for this episode

Theyt should write the series finale. Somebody bury this show already.

The cast just signed a 4 year deal but Fox only has a deal for 2 more years.

But this will probably be the episode I tune for the year. Last year it was Colbert's and that's all I saw.

Has anyone at fox seen the ratings lately? this show has lost 14 million viewers over the past ten years. back in the day this show used to pull 15-20 million viewers at one time. This year's finale only drew 6 million viewers. Stop renewing this thing. it's past it'd prime. With so many hit shows they can let this one go.

I would not be surprised to see cameos from Jason Segal, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd or anyone else who has been in multiple Judd Apatow movies.

Wow, I finally have a reason to watch a new Simpsons episode. If anyone can put some spark back into this show, it's Rogen and Goldberg.

None of those hit shows can compare to The Simpsons and it's quality has very little to do with it staying on the air. I guess every show should be buried once it reaches its prime, eh? The fact is, people still love the show and a lot of people still watch the show. And it's extremely hard to compare TV now and TV ten years ago. A lot has changed over the years since then.
