The 3D pad was used for Nights into Dreams. I think it was a pack-in deal? It only worked for a few games. It's actually pretty comfortable, and you can see the Dreamcast's pad was an evolution of its design.

coming with a 3.5mm jack like the wiiu and ds4. looks like mS learned a couple things from the comp.

The headphone jack is one of my favorite features of the PS4. No more nonsense with adapters and expensive headsets. I just plug my 10 dollar ear buds in (or my really nice headphones), and done.

So, go Microsoft.

trust me, this 3.5mm jack will probably end up being a pretty big deal/change for the xbone controller.

Yeah I know, 13K but still. the better selling hardware was the better selling hardware. Ps4 outsold xbone for a good while, during its time being cheaper, and price matched. so the $50 difference doesn't matter in this regard.

Uc4 was sony's answer to halo 5. from the looks of it, they have to think of something to fill the effing void.

with the rumor that a standard 1 TB X1 model will be released in June, and now this report that an updated controller will be released in June, I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 go hand in hand.

The hard drive change is not really a physical change though. All they do now is check the box that says 1 GB instead of 500 GB. It was no issue for the Call of Duty themed consoles.

The Xbox One is designed in a way that you really can't do that without completely redesigning the console.

I like that Microsoft is copying Sony. They seem to actually be learning from their mistakes.
