You know I'm sick of these huge sweeping arcs. Right now my favorite run in comics is Detective. Its a bunch of one or two book shots. Batman back to basics. I wish that mentality would work in more comics. Enough Wars, and crisis crap.

Has DC given any confirmation that this "final crisis" is coming soon? Forgive me for being skeptical, but it took DC 20 years to get from CoIE to IC. What makes anyone think they wont do the same? Heck, I thought one of the reasons IC took place in the first place was to commemorate the 20th anniversary of CoIE. Maybe they do have Busiek working on some super secret project, God knows they throw a new event at us every summer, but if they only have one final crisis to write, methinks it quite foolish that they would do it so soon after IC.
