Running Time Now Official

this tells me the studio lacks confidence in the film as was the case with fantastic four (another team oriented superhero movie) and its short running time. Oh well. I'll enjoy the good parts like with daredevil and buy the director's cut.

well i don't care anymore
Rogue for ten minutes in the movie??? AAAAAAAAHHHHH

Actually, there have been more positive reviews than negatives...

When did I say negative  Mixed as in there are those that like the Movie & there are those that said some things they did not like about the Movie so on etc

Fox's editors and restrictions.

X2 got the time it needed because Singer had clout from the first movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Singer threatened to leave if he didn't get certain things the second time around.
But these all sound like assumptions now...Where's the evidence to prove that there was some definite studio dictate on this movie?

True.

And honestly, look at Ratner's track record. All of his more action-oriented movies have been around 97 minutes.
He directed X3, yes, but is it only a coincidence? I mean, the running time of a movie is usually dictated by the script...

FOX had no problem giving Ratner a bigger budget & the type of budget Singer wanted / needed for X2 :o That seems like a big slap in the face to Singer

Sure, but the same was with t3 and that got pretty decent reviews. I think x3 will be seen as a great popcorn flick in the same vein, except this time it looks like x3 hasnt changed the mood or basic style at least from the last 2.

its about f***ing time!!!

Is that for me?
So yes....
What do i care???
it's ****ed up Rogue is in there for 10 minutes ik wanted her for 30 minutes i could live with that....but now...they better can me the movues 60 minutes....well thats not true i lthink it's great the running time....
I just hate the fact Rogue is in the movies for about ten minutes

This still doesn't explain why the premiere in Mexico had a longer cut...I think we will know when we actually go to the theater and sit there and clock it for ourselves.

Aside from the Ending not many liked T3 from what I heard

Rotten tomatoes says otherwise... 70 something percent.. it was a definite winner trust me... i saw the figures (cant remember exactly). The reason for the reviews was that they didnt compare it with the previous fully.

In the theater I was at people had a great time ... comedy laughter heh.. inappropriate but many liked it. So the point is, x3 can still get good reviews and complain about stuff also.

Please. Stop it. Its happened to many times under Fox. No coincedences here for me buddy. You want some evidence?? Fantastic Four and Daredevil. Ring a bell?

I am sure the movie will still be great but the development of some things will suffer from this.

As I said I dont give a rats ass with what critics / reviewers & others say. I prefer seeing & deciding for myself.

I think in Ratner's case, with his music video experience, it's different. He knows how to, essentially, 'give' movies a faster pace when they can be.

Yeah...T3 was good, but wasn't great and didn't exactly stack up to the other films...If you ask me, it's because they waited too long..

It should be interesting to see how Indiana Jones, Rambo & Rocky do

Red, I can tell you've already made up your mind, so I'm not going to try and debate you on this..

For THIS movie, there just isn't enough evidence...Those two movies, BTW, are in the minority...

Anyway, i have a feeling ratners that type of director.. hollywood blockbuster.. but maybe the style may blend with what x3 requires.

But from my understanding, the script was already supposed to be more fast-paced, even before Ratner was brought on...

Unless I've been mistaken..

Well I thought that flick was pretty interesting... the mainstream liked it, the people familiar with Camerons work hated it...

so i think x3 may ride the mainstream positive reviews, but hopefully not forfeit the style at least of the others. So far it seems the character development is whats lower in pitch now, the style is the same almost.
