About the 36th or so post down the page. Read and you will see, its from the mouth of the writer so its most probably true.

Quote from Roberto Orci who is the writer of the movie.

Anyhoo...

Roberto, just out of curiosity, is there any one thing about the movie that as a fan you've wanted to jump on this message board and tell us, only to have to hold yourself back? Is there any one thing abou the movie than makes you go, "You guys are gonna love this, it's awesome," but you of course aren't able to tell us?

Yeah, like the other two hours and ten minutes worth of stuff you haven't seen."

I repeat two hours and ten minutes.

...

Well, if it is 2h 10 mins, then i'll be a happy bunny.

btw, i dunno if this is old or not, was posted by Orci on the 27th of May 2007.

2 hours and 10 minutes? Good, long enough, but i hoped 2 and a half hour. It's at least longer than FF2...

Steve

with...........or without credits?... eh? eh?

I'm guessing with the credits. That gives us two whole hours for the actual movie

Well if he said we've not seen 2 hours 10 minutes, and we've seen about 15 minutes worth of tv spots/trailers then that puts the movie at no more than about 2 and a half hours, which i love..

Sounds good to me. With the amount of CGI this movie will probably have and only 150 mil, 2 hours is pretty decent if you think about it.

150 mil? No, I think it will have way more than FF1... lowest I would think would be 200 mil with BB and SR.

Nice runtime. We Should have 2 hours of humans and 10 mins of Tranformers :oldrazz:

Joking. That sounds long enough to me.

Dude, EVERYTHING is longer than ****ing FF2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:o You make it sound like that if TF is "only" 2:10 hrs long, it's only slightly longer than FF2...?... If the movie is truely 2:10 hrs, than it's 35 minutes longer than FF2, and that's A LOT.

If it's anything OVER 2 hours, than we should all be happy!

Are you ppl serious that FF2 is only 93 minutes long ?!?!
I still to this day cannot understand why sooooo many ppl like the first one !!
They tried to make it into a ****ing comedy !!!
And they completely butchered Dr.Doom !!!

Because many folks- like me- waited until it came out on DVD. It's much easier to take that way. I would have hated it a lot more if friends and I paid up the wazoo in NYC prices ($50-$60 in a group) instead of just renting it for $2.99 and watching it on your home theater and Plasma TV.

I'm still on the fence as to whether Transformers will get the same treatment. First day fan feedback and reviews will help me decide.

Movie runtimes are deceptive. I'd rather a movie end a little soon than drag out - good movies can be ruined when they drag on and on and don't end. FF2 looks to be much better than FF1 and I don't care how long it is.

I think a 2 hour, 10 minute runtime of transformers will be perfect... given the the movie is decent.

I love A.I. One of the best 'sci-fi' movies of all time in my book.

I liked AI a lot as well. I loved the marketing for it also. I don't know if any of you remember but there were all these fake websites that led people on a wild goose chase about secret experiments and whatnot. There were phone numbers listed that led to voicemails and if you left a contact number they called you back with robotic voice threats that you shouldn't be snooping where you don't belong and things like that. Great stuff.
