Hey guys, i got some possibly great news! I think this deserves it's own topic as it would have gotten lost in the AICN review topic. So we are mostly all familiar with the "iceman" scene that was in the intro of the leaked script. It was also in the novel and movie adaptation comic. When those two reviews came out, quite a few of us got scared as it made no mention of the scene, but instead the film starting off with:
Well i decided to go and ask Roberto Orci himself on the official forum about this review and that particular scene having possibly been cut. To my lucky suprise i got an answer and not only that, he does give a little more info on its status. So here it is:

I had the same username and mentioned your good work on The Island and M:I:3. I have a question concerning a scene in the TF movie. Now i know you dont discuss such but it's a scene that was mentioned in the movie comic adaptation, Novel and leaked script. Now with all due respect i have not read either or these three, I do know there was supposed to be a scene at the start of the movie that was during a icy setting. There have been two reviews out for the movie and both dont mention the scene, it's said to start of with the Blackout sequence. There was also a behind the scenes video of Michael Bay filming a maquette version of it. Now im really hoping this is not true and that the reviews are fake as that would make such a classy and epic scene to see. It would add a lot to the movie, not to mention be amazing to see on the big screen. Is there anything you can possibly say to either confirm or deny it has been removed? I could link you to the review if you would like. Here's also an image of the movie adaptation version : http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/attac...2&d=1180758164
Please if you could get back to me on this i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much for your time!

The scene in question still exists, but we moved it structurally.
