Runtime

Over 2 hours is NOT too long.
It's perfect.

 :D

Since the last 30 minutes or so will be tons of Robot action, it won't feel like a 2 hour plus movie. ppl start getting restless when the middle and end's of movies slow down like casino royale or SM1, SM2 and SM3. The slow parts of TF are more near the beginning, so the movie should flow just fine.

I haven't read any of the leaked scripts or significant spoilers, but I have a feeling you're exactly right.

Good! I hope you're right. The less Michael Bay directing dialogue the better. There's only so many raising eyebrows, lip biting, (classic hackneyed directing techniques) and cliched dialogue I can take.

Didn't someone say the movie will just be two hours though?

I thought it was Bay, but now it's gonna be like 130 mins.?

Thats a good runtime, fox can really learn from this.

Although i will admit it doesnt guarantee it will be a good film but with a runtime like that it leaves room for some great action!!!

If its just over 2 hours, then that is good. If it goes too long, then the movie will seem to drag, i.e. SM3 and POTC3.

Are you ppl serious that FF2 is only 93 minutes long ?!?!
I still to this day cannot understand why sooooo many ppl like the first one !!
They tried to make it into a ****ing comedy !!!
And they completely butchered Dr.Doom !!!
It's the smallest part of the world that really loved Fantastic Four!... And the sequel doesn't look to be any better! Such a comedy-fest!... and YES, the sequel is actually only 1:32 hrs. long! All the local theaters has it listed at that now. I'm gonna download it on the net, there's no way that I'll see it in theaters!

So I was just over at the live free or die hard boards on comingsoon and a theater manager put a picture of a listing of upcoming movies. He was doing this to show that the new Die Hard flick is indeed rated R. But interestingly, it also showed the runtime of a few other movies on the list. One of them was Transformers with a runtime of 135 min. It seems legit and he posted a picture as proof. Unfortunately he took it down because he was afraid he could get in trouble. Interesting though.

So it's official? FF2 will be just as crappy as the first film. I'm still waiting for some on reviews on Ain't it cool news to confirm all my fears but, this doesn't suprise me.

LOL!!!

is that just the film or including trailers and credits?

All my local theaters here in Denmark, to which you can already buy your TF-ticket now (we get it on July 1'st!) has the film listed at 2 HOURS & 15 MINUTES! So I'm trusting that! Great running time!!!!:);)

Now all the theaters I've checked here in little Denmark has the film listed at 2HOURS & 24 MINUTES!... I called them up and asked why they had changed the listing of the running time to something even longer, and they said "Because we got the information directly from Paramount pictures". I have no idea why or HOW they could know more about it, than you people in the US. but that's what they said... I believe it's true... but no matter what, we have a movie that's at the least 2hrs.&15 min. and at the highest 2hrs.&24min!

Just wanted to let ya all know:)

They could be including the trailer times as well.
