Deadpool Ryan Reynolds Confirmed To Play The Pool of Death

^ And that's the Deadpool we'll get. To be honest, Reynolds as Wade was probably the best thing about that aforementioned awfully terrible film.

yeah, I remember thinking how sad it was when Reynolds left the film after 5 seconds of screentime, because after that the movie was just lifeless and not-at-all fun (on top of, ya know, awful)

Good luck to Reynolds. He deserves to clear his name as far as comic films go.

Looking forward to this. Might even get into my "top 10 most anticipated films of 2016" list, and there's a lot of highly anticipated films coming out that year. I'm kindof seeing his portrayal of Hannibal King in Blade Trinity as an audition of sorts to this role. A badass vigilante with a potty mouth and a a great sense of humor to go with it.

^ Funny you said that because I recently watched Blade: Trinity & that's all I kept thinking about Reynolds' character all the way through.

Reynolds and Goyer started throwing around the idea of a Deadpool film during Blade Trinity. Really, this film has been in development hell since 2005.

His costume looks great! Thank you 20th Century Fox and the costume designer!

So we're all in agreement that this is the best movie costume ever made, and that Ryan Reynolds is a top bloke.

As awesome as I think it looks, I still think Ironman is number 1.

It's tied with Spidey at least, better than Iron Man's. Im super impressed.

So this will be a new origin movie?

We have to forget everything that happened in X Men Origin: Wolverine ?

Yep, they have been pretty clear since it was announced that this will be a completely different Deadpool then the one we saw in XMOW.

But both Deadpool is played by Ryan Reynolds.

Wouldn't it be confusing?

After the events of "Days of Future Past", the events of Wolverine: Origins have been pretty much wiped from existence. So you can have the same character, but due to different circumstances, he thankfully turned out way differently.

Does anyone outside the scarred X-Men fans remember Ryan Reynolds as that version of Deadpool? Let's face it, they're not going to look alike either

I still like him as Wade in that Movie. But I hope Deadpool in the new Movie won't actually be able to deflect bullets by spinning his blades.

Yea they can do what they want with deadpool. I wonder if he'll have similar personality to his first incarnation?!

I think he will. Ryan Reynolds was sarcastic and jokey in Origins.

I recently watched The Voices and it was pretty damn good. :woot:

Ryan plays a serial killer that talks to his cat and dog, and the cat wants him to kill a bunch of ppl. Dark comedy. The entire film could easily be a Deadpool origin. Ya'll should check it out.

I would think that would be the case. Fox is taking a risk keeping the same actor but I'm sure there is a reason for it...hopefully the reason is that they believe he can do it well.

I doubt that many people that could get confused even remember Reynolds being Deadpool before. He's not a big name actor and neither the character nor the movie were very memorable.

I just saw the trailer for this and it looks funny as well as bloody...at least that SS gun shot scene was bloody. Have definitely put this film on my watch list for 2016.
