Deadpool Ryan Reynolds Confirmed To Play The Pool of Death

Ugh. Come on man, we're better than that. Don't link to Daily Mail. :barf:

i have watched out the trailers and Ryan is looking simply stunning and the humour he added is simply outstanding

I'm very happy for Ryan. I've been a fan of his for over 20 years, and I thought he was done with CBMs after the RIPD debacle. I'm glad to see comic book fans let their voices be heard and Ryan got a 2nd chance to be the character he was born to play.

Great to see Ryan finally score with a dope franchise. He deserves it.

I watched it twice, both times it just felt so surreal to me that I was actually watching this movie. Not too long ago I had lost all hope that this would get made. But here I was watching it and it was everything I wanted and more out of a Deadpool movie. Seeing him take out the baddies in the most over the top and entertaining ways was something I'd been waiting years for. And character wise, they couldn't be more spot on. Ryan Reynolds was perfect in this movie, it's almost as if they created the Deadpool character with him in mind.

So, so, so very happy that Ryan finally got this. This is definitely going down in history as one of the best superhero movies ever. Having been a fan of Ryan for over a decade (damn, saying that makes me feel old haha) it's great to see him finally score a win this epic. Cheers, Mr. Pool of Death. :D

Yeah kind of feels like justice Reynolds finally gets some major prop's. He has often been the best thing in average/poor films so its high time he got the support around him for something big to hit. His career is made from here on out.

Have been a fan of Reynolds since Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. And yeah, most of the time he's been the best part in otherwise mediocre Movies. It was about frikkin time his career took off.

I always liked Van Wilder back in the day, it was one of the many American Pie clone's that was actually funny and Reynolds was the main reason.

I also think he was a better Hal Jordan than most want to give him credit for. Sure, the rest of the movie was a mess but I still like his performance there. Actually, Reynolds & Mark Strong were literally the only good things there.

I thought that the actors were just fine in Green Lantern (the standout performances for me were Mark Strong and Peter Sarsgaard, though). It was everything else that fell absurdly flat.

But yeah, it's good to see Ryan Reynolds in a good movie. I went through of period of disliking him a lot because (a) he was "oversaturated", and (b) he was oversaturated because he was in so many craptastic movies. I'm glad he's finally in a good movie where his actual talents are able to be shown off.

Reynolds as Deadpool undoubtedly ranks among the top tier casting choices for a comic book movie; right up there with RDJ's Iron Man, Christopher Reeve's Superman, JK Simmons' J Jonah Jameson, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, etc ...

Ryan nailed the role. He's gone beyond the anyone else in being the perfect actor to play a superhero role.

Loved how he referenced Reynolds getting work because of his looks[/blackout
