I think Supes looks horrible, the new one from that JLA line coming out in August looks much better, as does Black Canary.

Well, its not like its their fault. I'm sure if DC and WB would stop being dicks they'd make other characters. aside from the Supes and Bats families.

have they officially said dc wont let them be made ? cause i think they wouldn't mind. they have others characters in the justice league unlimited line and the young justice line. i think it just mattel knows superman and batman are going to sell more then green lantern, hawkman or whatever

Well that's stupid considering the cartoon show should've shed light on the other DC characters for the youngsters. In either case, why don't they look at the success of Marvel Legends even with their obscure characters?

Yeah, its official, atleast for now. The consensus is that if the DCSH waves currently being released do well enough it'll give Mattel some ammo in their pitch to expand the line. BAFs were also speculated but have been shot down atleast for 2007.

still superman and batman will always sell more. dc has dc direct so they put all the figures that collectors want in there direct market line. well the mass market line with mattel gets a bunch of batman and superman

Exactly. This was mentioned as a reason why DC has been reluctant to let Mattel do it, being that DC Direct makes 6" figures aswell. Its a dumbass reason, but atleast its a reason. I could still see them doing good. Or they could always shortpack the fig.

Down here they've done pretty good. Almost every store I go to doesn't have any other than maybe a Supes. My Wal-Mart has about 10 figs on the pegs but thats because this Wal-Mart always gets a few cases of stuff. I remember when the Wal-Mart wave of Marvel Legends finally made it here they had 4-5 cases just sitting there.

zellers in my area doesn't carry them, toy r us has a full wall and wallmart has a bunch of banes, killer crocs and scarecrows and never gotten any more after that.

not really there tons of hard to get marvel legends figures. wallmart has all the hard to find legends always there. and toy r us is the same. zellers still has series 2 - 6 and old spider-man classics

I meant as far as getting the DCSH.

You know, with access to those figures you could easily convert to the darkside and scalp yourself crazy.
