Sabretooth Wolverine's half brother?

I'd rather have the Dog/Creed thing over that origin. That one seems kinda stupid to me

This is the 8th and final page of Creed's origin in the one shot. The only reason I didn't post it with the other 7 is that the site wouldnt let me.

The Birthday fixation begins...

what the hell is his hand doing on the floor????

I wonder if dog and creed ever do meet and that creed kills dog and assumes his hunt for logan.

i would have preferred dog finding creed, killing him and assuming his identity but meh...

I still need Marvel to say Dog was indeed Victor Creed before I will accept it.

Have you been reading the thread because Marvel pretty much set up an origin in a recent one shot that makes it impossible for Dog to be Sabertooth.

Logan himself said they were not related in the Lupine arc of Wolverine. :)

Not to refute the fact that it looks like Sabretooth isn't Dog (because in the comics it certainly looks that way) I'm waiting for the Lupine arc to be retconned later. I mean, Dog and Sabertooth being descendants of wolf people? And there being tribes of blonde haired fighting against tribes of dark haired? That brings the whole brunett vs. blonde thing to a whole new lever.

I was just never a fan of that arc.

While I agree the idea of the Lupine race is weak, I can't help but like the mystery and power of Romulus. Maybe the dude is just deluded. No matter what though, it doesn't change the fact that Logan still pretty much confirmed that he and Sabes are not related. :)

Sooooooooooooo why is Fox going that route? I never liked the idea of them being brothers, not even in a movie.

I liked the idea. It has much more class than them both being Lupine. :p

Yes, in the comics it seems pretty certain that they aren't going to be related. However, you never know what could happen in the next few years:woot:

They must have thought it worked better in the movie. Personally, I love the idea. I think it opens up a lot of possibilities to make their relationship very dynamic.

But really, it doesn't matter what the comics do. The X-men movies haven't exactly followed them all that accurately. Wolverine is 6'3 instead of being short. He didn't remember who Sabertooth was in X1, Nightcrawler didnt' start out as involved in religion as he was before he joined the X-men, Mystique didn't walk around naked, and so on.

To compact the history. Its not a stretched, just dumb as **** to write in the evil brother cliche after all this time.

deliciously gruesome, eh?

*the rest of the comic isn't about Creed's origin at all, just about his re-ocurring fights with Logan.

its the worth the buy for those pages alone, and that ferocious cover.
I want to read this so bad O_o
