Open your Eyes, by Snow Patrol. It's very slow and deliberate, but I don't think it's supposed to be a 'sad song.' But it's beautiful.

Totally ****ed, when the kids go into the chorus of blah, blah, blah... I just get all choked up and that's not just while watching the play but while I'm listening and singing along with the CD. It's like they're expressing so much with the use of so little and I just recall the play and what led up to it. So much tragedy, but yet the tune sounds so upbeat and happy like meh, we'll get over it, it's a part of life or something.....

I can't describe it.
