Saddest moments in DC films?

I don't know about you guys but i think that Superman Returns kryptonite scene is saddest moment i seen in DC films.

First, he is Superman. He has skin-tight costume and superpowers. He lands on island but suddenly he loses all his powers. First Superman is confused.

And then he is kicked by Lex

Superman realizes he made a mistake when he flew to the island like that. But he can't do nothing now.
Lex tries to hit Superman but he protects himself. But then Superman is dragged and Superman can't do anything.

And then Superman is kicked, he is wet and he can't fight. He has no powers.

And finally... he is stabbed!

I mean for me, i think it's clearly saddest moment in DC movies.
Imagine, you have Superman costume, you have superpowers, you save the world... and suddenly you lose all your powers but you still wearing Superman costume. Wearing Superman costume but having no powers and you are beaten by guys. That's terrible! But Brandon Routh played it so well.
What you guys think of this? Is this sad moment?

God, seeing Routh in that ill-fitting Superman Returns costume might be the saddest moment of all.

That movie was an all around catastrophe. Hindsight makes it even worse when you consider the people that worked on that movie. All the rumors, allegations about the cast and crew and what if’s about the story and cast kind of hamper my enjoyment of the movie. So much wasted potential.

I think the Pa Kent scene in MOS was sad. That is why it enraged so many. It was also dumb enough to ruin the movie IF you let it.

If it would've been referenced that Clark felt so different and alien he couldn't even react quick enough due to the longing to be a normal human I think it would have made more sense. All in all it just was a boneheaded creative choice to hammer home the tough natural order/way of things that Pa Kent wanted Clark to follow towards being a good humble person when he grew up as if there was some kind of concern over him becoming self serving with the powers he had. Just having Clark stand by so to speak was horrible though.

All in all it was sad as a result and frustrating from a creative standpoint. I can see how the movie was soured by this (notsomuch the ending which lets be honest was a superhuman battle like any other film minus the tunnel vision of age of ultron simply having hero's always be able to save everyone during an ensuing battle).

I also can think of the moment from Watchmen where John died in the lab as another sad moment with his wife leaving as she couldn't bear to see what happened next.

Superman killing Zod... he's the only other surviving Krypton and he's forced to kill him... that scream is POWERFUL...

That movie was super funny and hilarious especially the flashback scene with his mom talking to a doctor (was it before or after her lobotomy can't recall).

That scene was so hilarious and funny. Everyone in the bar around me who refuse to see life outside of a certain window just laughed as viewed it as comedy...

Arthur tried to laugh but was kind of crying too which made it even more funny...

Just kidding. Had you going? Well the sad part is that is something that Arthur would probably say when confronted with a disturbing news story...

So sad.
