Think he will just remain the loyal friend to Cap or might he suit up as Captain America in a future film?

Will his role increase or decrease?

Just hoping he doesn't get shafted (with screentime) with all the characters in IW

I thought he was one of the best things about Winter Soldier and def made the most of his role in Civil War. It's a shame he could never get his own film, might be interesting to see.

I think the supporting characters will continue to be important but not get much screen time (like War Machine and Bucky in Civil War for example.)

There's a good chance that at least one major hero will "pass the mantle" to a new person during/after Infinity War. IMO this would be a big mistake. Audiences like Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner etc. it's not the costume that they like as much.

Plus to see Falcon fighting alongside everyone in the Infinity Wars fighting off Thanos' army would be great to see

Bucky have had plenty of time in Civil War. Only a little less than Natasha in TWS.

Indeed. And probably a cameo in Black Panther. It's War Machine who gets the the scraps so far.

I was initially against anyone else taking over the CA mantle.
However, I love the way they've written him and how Mackie played him; respectful and full of admiration for CA while still being his own man.
So I wouldn't mind seeing it happen if they go that direction.

I still want a Falcon/WS buddy movie :D

I'd watch that :sly:

I'd love to see Falcon cameo in BP or Captain Marvel. A really solid supporting character who I honestly can't see anyone hating on.

Ditto, the only question is should falcon and ws get ca like color scheme?

he's part of Cap's rogue team so he'll have some kind of role. I doubt he will be set up as the new Captain America, though. You'd probably see Bucky take on that role if Chris Evans quits.

In that case, I wonder if they might OFF him in IW

He appears to be fighting alongside Wanda in the leaked trailer (you can see red energy nearby as he flying kicks Proxima Midnight).

I noticed that quick glance. Hopefully we get some reports of him set for filming in A4

very little news about him filming. Maybe it's because he was promoting Detroit or pre-production for that Johnny Cochran film due to start filming in January.

Hope he has a nice sizable role for the sequel.

Well I mean he's becoming the Falcon again in the comics, so they might potentially switch the roles with him?

would be nice to see him as Cap in future films though perhaps Mackie might be too old by then. A very good actor, just quite underrated. Always in supporting roles. I guess at least with Falcon, he shines.

People are worried about Wanda in A4, but Mackie still isn't filming and was at comic-con today with Atwell, even though Sebastian is in Atlanta.
Idk, I can see them killing Falcon in IW, he is a fan favorite character enough to miss him, but isn't big enough like Cap or Tony to save his possible death for A4.

A lot of people haven't been spotted filming yet.

Great point. It'd totally be a gut-punch if he died, but I'd rather that than him having like 5 minutes of screentime in Avengers 4.

I'm not a big Mackie fan. He's good as Falcon and I think his character biting the dust would hit the right emotional sweet spot.
