Infinity War Sam Wilson/Falcon going forward in the MCU?

A lot of people haven't been spotted filming yet.

True. It means less than nothing. Most of the filming for these movies is taking place on soundstages, which is something that fans tend to either forget or ignore.

Falcon could be teaming up with a bunch of other lower tier Avengers to take on one of the Black Order guys. It's going to be intriguing seeing the mini-teams and combinations of characters we get in this film.

Whislt its coming to an end as Chris Evans as captain america there's something hugely sad about that, he's been the best part of the mcu alongside rdj by a mile. Took a character I had no interest in and made him possibly my second fave cb hero. I appreciate he's had the best films to work with but Evans performances have been magnificent.

It's going to be sad to see any of the original guys hang up their boots.

I think Chris Evans and possibly rdj will have the biggest impact on me. Those two really made me fans of their characters in a way no others have, I like others but those two hit a spot. And I don't see rdj going anywhere for five years.
The others I can take or leave even though I like all of their portrayals and them as actors.

They are also the 2 main characters and the leaders of this whole band. Whatever happens to them will have the most impact.

Will be interesting to see where the mcu goes without tony stark and Steve rogers as characters.

Falcon did pretty well in this trailer featuring in the team shot at the end and that solo pan across the battlefield with hi firing both guns while flying.

I'm really looking forward to his role in the film

Falcon needs to be at the head of the New Avenger line up especially after all is said and done

I wanna see this. Mackie has the acting chops and charisma

I gotta figure he's fan fav especially after Civil War.

how different is he in the comics? Sam may follow Cap, but it shows how inspiring Cap is and how loyal Sam is to his friend. I don't really see the problem. Though maybe they should mention how Sam feels leaving the service or dealing with PTSD or such things.

I'm not saying that the problem is that Sam follows Cap. I'm not even saying there is a problem, just that the Russos don't look very interested in his character to develop him. Following Cap is pretty much all he does, he doesn't have any arc of his own, whereas Nat, BP and even Wanda, Vision have in Cap's solo movie. He has even less screentime in CW, than BW, BP and Wanda, and he's not important to the plot.

I can't disagree with this.

Falcon had a great fight scene in Ant-Man, which also showed him working on his own a bit.

I don't think he was ignored in CW, it's just that the film was pretty densely packed already.

That it definitely was.

He did seem to have Cap's respect in the film especially toward the end when he mentioned about him n Bucky having to leave and the rest would handle Stark.

he definitely stands more as his own man so much than say sidekick (which i feel War Machine is categorized as by the films)

I agree.

This is the beauty of having an actual cinematic universe; instead of having to pack things into individual films, they can spread out and overlap.

That was an amazing cameo. This is the way that CUs can enhance their underlying films without taking anything away/overburdening them.

Indeed. Great selection of having Falcon. He didn't feel like he took away from Ant-Man at all; but in fact, he gave something.

Yeah, and I wouldn't have predicted Falcon appearing in the first Ant Man film. Love what having a cinematic universe can throw at you. I also loved Strange's cameo in Thor.

I saw an early screening of Age of Ultron in Boston proper and my theater cheered when they saw Falcon At the end of AoU as an Avenger. So I gotta imagine he is already a fan favorite

It's crazy how Mackie is finally making waves in the industry. He's been in everything. 8 Mile/She Hate Me/Million Dollar Baby/The Hurt Locker and even in Pain&Gain, The Night Before in recent years, but never a chance to be a leading man in a big film.

Hopefully he can parlay his success from the MCU. I saw him in Detroit and that was quite good, though his role is small.
