Samurai Jack

The cartoon was never finished,it just dissapeared in 2004 i think.

as i recall jack had reached the shows 52 episode limit thats why it stopped production under cartoon network policy:ninja:

oh crap!!! i just realized the guy thst voiced AKU died!

NO ONE ELSE CAN VOICE HIM!

No the 52 thing is disneys policy. Cartoon Newtwork policy is if its popular it goes on until no one watchs it any more. Which explains why crap like Billy and Mandy is still on. Gendy was doing the star wars cartoon at the same time as season 3 of SJ. So he got really busy and just decided to drop SJfor awhile to work on star wars vol 2.

Its not much but I hope something will happen eventually. It was tragic to me the show never finished especially before the passing of Mako.

I stay just use stock audio of Mako as Aku if more animation is ever made.

I would kill for a Samurai Jack live action film. Think of the awesomness.

I was raised on the cartoon show. I hope one day we can get a good adaption. Looking back, I remember when Cartoon Network was worth a damn(Ed, Edd an Eddy; Dexter's Lab; Samurai Jack; Toonami; Space Ghost; Johhny Bravo; Time Squad; Cow and Chicken; Powerpuff Girls; Sheep in the Big City; Kids Next Door; Courage the Cowardly Dog; the original Clone Wars; Batman Beyond).:o

Not sure how "real" they'll be in the coming months as "CN Real" has basically crashed and burn when it comes to ratings.

So much for that and good riddance I say.

yeah....after seeing that link i would definetly like it better on animation,i mean, they did the same with the powerpuff girls, why not with Jack?

I also grew up with these shows, and they are classics compared to the disasters of after school dramas being produced in their place.

^^ those were the days
s

Those ARE the days! To me they never died, and still live with me.

^^^Now CN has gotten "Real".

CN needs to get real by returning to its grass roots.

I don't think so. But yeah, alot of my childhood revolved around those shows. At that time I liked CN abetter than Nickelodean. They had more daring shows and Nick was kind of soft on me. As i got a little older CN was the place I went to.

I loved Samurai Jack alot. And i still remember when it first premiered. and the first episode I saw was the one where Aku read the story to the children. Odd, but again, something Nick would never do.

Now kids shows suck. Except TBATB, CW, and TSSM.

I remembering watching Samurai Jack and thinking how brutal it was and loving every second of it. The show's flawless.

Then nothing for a few years and I grew up and moved on.

Then Afro Samurai came on and well...

I always loved the episodes where the bounty hunters were after him. And the Scott dude.

An animated movie may not be as successful, I'd love to see it, but damn a live action jack movie would be great! Maybe if Ninja Assassin takes off we may have something.

Is there a DVD box of this series? Because back when it was on Cartoon Network here in Holland they barely broadcasted it, but I loved the episodes that I saw, with all it samurai-and-bounty-hunter-awesomeness.
