The still untitled series focuses on an investigator that must deal with the aftermath of a black cop killing a white teen in Tennessee.

I want to like this, I like Sanaa Latham but this feels very exploitative.

I'll have to wait and see it before I could call it exploitive.

There is nothing wrong with making TV shows that explore the issues of the day. Shows have been doing this since the dawn of television.
