Sandman can be killed just like everyone else.

he can also be stopped but it's quite clear that movie spiderman doesn't have the brains or the general physical attributes to do so.

Push him into the machine from FF that reverses genetic mutations! Then when he emerges as human, blow his brains out with a shot gun! Voila, Sandman is dead!

Maybe decapitating Sandman would work & then keep that portion of sand that made up his head separated from the rest of his body. Sure he can manipulate sand to change form but take away enough of his actual body & he wouldn't be able to regenerate with normal sand.

Because a particle gun can only be made to match the particle makeup of a specific person. You can't use a particle gun on sandman and expect it to work on the lies of say the hulk.

Also, I agree with NR. Sandman can be beaten, quite easily than you'd think actually but movie spider-man lacks the physical and cerebral dexterity to even sensibly try and attempt this.
