When Eddie Brock dies, Venom dies. If the symbiote attaches itself to anyone else whom is not Eddie Brock, they are not Venom, period. If the symbiote does return, no doubt they'll use Carnage. Unless the symbiote can bring Eddie back to life...ya never know. Or maybe Sony/Marvel/Raimi changed their minds about killing Eddie Brock.

All I know is that they should NOT kill Eddie Brock....yet.

At the end, the symbiote should leave him after Harry throws a pumpkin bomb or something, Harry dies, and then Eddie is taken to the hospital by Parker, hurt pretty bad. He regains strength, and is put in jail. He just happens to be roomates with noneother than Cletus Kasady. <<<I would be soooo happy.

Im hoping they just put Brock into a coma at the end so the symbiot could later return to him and revive him
I like the jail thing better than this but I also believe the Q&A too, so maby he ment coma by "Brock dies"

I don't want Eddie Brock to die in this movie. Make him die in a Carnage movie, but not this one.

I think that Sandman can take Venom though.

when a symbiote spawns, it and only then does it have a different personality.. and thats the spawned part only.. the same sybiote that eddie wears, is not the same sybiote that carnage wears... the venom sybiote spawned carnages... it's its child. anyone and everyone who has worn the eddie brock symbiote has become venom... from Eddie, to Scorpion, to Eddie's wife who became she-venom (i believe that was the same symbiote but i could be mistaken) its just not the same "venom" we usually like

Do we have reliable evidence that Eddie is going to die? or Venom? Or anything? I know what it's like being a fan and speculating, but this is getting a bit too particular, and lets not forget the thread topic... This is sandman people!
I remember when x3 was about to come out and everyone was talking about "what if cyclops died, that will be ridiculous", then when it actually happened it made it even worse because you had been waiting for it. I think spider-man is the one franchise where you get surprised. Raimi knows what he is doing i mean, he's done well so far! Lets put faith in the old boy shall we?
I'm interested to see how they deal with sandmans past... I really want to get into a nice dark criminal's mind, like with GG in Spidey 1 and Doc Ock in 2. That's whats gonna be awesome... We all know raimi will do Venom justice... i just wanna see clear, decent footage of him then i'll be able to sleep soundly right up until may 2007!

well, my friend who was working in the art department on spidey 3 before it shut down, told me that both eddie and harry die.. he also confirmed to me about the "snowboarding" goblin before we had proof (though he said he had a hood), and he also confirmed venom's appearance to me. he also got me a nifty spidey 3 hat so i believe him

Holy crow - Sandman has given the Thing a run for his money and Ben Grimm goes toe to toe with the Hulk and Galactus fer cryin' out loud.

Human torch owned thing once when he was mind controlled...........and Venom beat up Spidey and torch at the same time and hes weak to fire.

I think sandman will be amazing visually but lack in the compelling story department...which is why they added him having a kid into the movie.

Fair enough, your friend might have picked that up but i still wouldnt hold it as gospel... These things can change quite a bit. Many things can change through the process... remember they did go back for reshooting. We cant rule out the possibility that things might have changed since ur friend heard that.

he also had the symbiote first.. and has a stonger mind then brock.. so it didnt take over him.. it came close though.. but peter got rid of it before that happened..

beat ya too it.. he was there from the begining to middle.. and the art department was shut down way before the reshoots.. so alot could have changed... but then again.. not much changed from the original X3 script

i meant if eddie brock lives he can become venom again in further movies.maybe in the last spiderman movie they should put venom and carnage, but carnage is a little to violent for the movies.

I can't wait to see more of Sandman in his sand form. While I have never been a big fan of Sandy he looks amazing on the side of that wall in the trailer...thank god the CGI has gotten better.

Eddie should not die as that would be very upsetting, Harry should die at the hands of Peter as to not die a hero.

It is going to be interesting to see how they figure out that the symbiote's weaknesses are fire and sound. Doc Connors hopefully.

This isn't the comics. In the films, Harry is selfish, spiteful and hateful. Why should he die as a hero? He's never done anything heroic in the films. I'm not saying he shouldn't die as a hero, I'm just saying nothing to this point in the films has indicated he will. However, all that said, I am hoping that he will ultimately save Peter.
