This isn't the same as the omen review thread, I just wanted to know what you guys might do in a similar situation to the one the father faced.
You know, I was watching the Omen, and I thought, if it did happen, how many people would actually believe their son was the devil (assuming it was real?) how would I, or anyone react to that news? what would it take for you or me to believe? and if we ignored it, and it all came to pass and be true...how would we feel knowing we had ignored it?
Just something I thought about during and after the movie.
As for the movie, I haven't seen the original in a long time so I can't compare, but this was a very solid, very slick movie. The only real thing I regret is that they probably could have got a better , creepier kid, but this one did ok. Everything about it was solidly done, and I like that it was more of a horror movie where the character is in denial untill the horror and truth of the situation has dawned on him. I like how it's no nonsense, straight up with no lame or camp winks and nods to the genre.
