The Dark Knight Liev Schreiber In The Omen 666

I still want to see if Liev has what it take to play Dent. I'll wait & see if he make it before I start thinking he's wrong for the part. I trust Nolan will helm it well if he does cast Liev.

How many times does he have to prove that he can't do it?

Scream, Manchurian Candidate, Sum of all fears, the Omen

do you wanna just keeping feeding this man roles or move on because time is ticking if they want to make this for 2008, the two face casting will come in the next 6 months and i don't know if Schreiber has another movie under his belt or not, but how many more movies are you going to need to see before he can't do it, casue i am ready now, the omen was his chance, he was very bland in it, he is a good supporting actor, but Harvey Dent will probobly be the second lead in BB2, and Schrieber just doesn't have what it takes

awesome, lol....****ing awesome

Paycheck? Bad Boys 2? com'on, and you think you know acting and quality movies?

people these are the merchents who are going to ruin this next series of batman movies if they get there way, they watch the money flicks and think they know more about movies...of course Liev Schrieber is going to look like a fantastic actor when the 4 stars of the two movies you just said you liked where, Ben Affleck, Martian Lawrence, Will Smith, and Aaron Eckhart (Eckharts okay but is dreadful in paycheck)

2 of those actors are worldly considered in the 5 worst popular actors on the planet in Affleck and Lawrence

you can like your car/explosion/sexy girl movies but just don't use those perverted money making styles with the quality filmmaking of BB into BB2

Whats it matter if someone likes Paycheck or Bad Boys? I liked Bad Boys. Am I suppose to only watch deep, thought provoking movies. Can't I have fun and watch **** blow up sometimes? But i still love the thought provoking ones This point alone makes both styles perfectly marketable besides the style comes down to Nolan who (whether he picks Liev or not) will choose the right man for the job and use him not to change tone/style/whatever but to further expand the tone/style/etc.

Well, that your opinion. My opinion is I think he would be great. Until any of you guys seen his screen test as Dent, you can't tell if he is wrong or right. Stop trying to tell us he can't act like it's a fact, when it your opinions. Or that you're telling us this so WB can listen to you & not get him. Geez. :p

i agree with you on the other roles you do not like in Comic book movies

i thought Manch was supposed to be Schrieber's big break, i've seen sum of all fears, not impressive, haven't seen the tv flicks your talking about cause the only tv shows i watch i buy on dvd

here's my thing though, good actors make their own breaks, and spacey did that, and schrieber has seemingly been handed these roles on a silver platter to grab by the balls, and he still remains very B-listed

not from the TV movies i listed dude. i once thought as you did, thought he was just smallfry until i saw RKO then Hitler. you really ought to try to catch those

i maybe am putting a tone of value on the awards system, but i will take that wager any day of the week, i will take the best actor winners every year and you can have the none best actor winners and i garuntee i win more then not(in the case of if they deserve it) the only one i don't like in the past couple years has been russell crowe for the gladiator(but he did deserve beautifull mind)
Crowe's win for Gladiator is a nod to his missing out for The Insider the year before (he was up against Spacey what can you say? ;)). although a very competent actor, i think all those awards have gone to his head.
i'm generally just very skeptical of the industry awards systems, specially the Oscars, when they give the awards to Mr or Ms Hot-thing-of-the-momment instead of those who really deserves it (case in point: Gwyneth Paltrow's win as Best Actress in Shakespeare in Love over Cate Blanchett's Elizabeth)

yeah i missed out on Glengary Glen Ross for Spacey. my bad. but if i have to pick his most memorable role it would be John Doe in Seven. ironic, since he's in it like 20% of the entire film.

i'm not saying that Schreiber is the only guy deserving to be cast as Harvey Dent. heck no. that's what i mean that there are a lot of talented actors out there who deserves an award but arent being noticed because they dont run with the popular crowd. but in the same breath i dont think its fair of you to cast Shcreiber aside as dry B-movie actor specially there are other works of his that proves that otherwise.

To me, Schreiber is Dent.
Josh Lucas would be the runner-up for me.
