Officer claims phrase book was a joke, says he’s married to a black woman

HOUSTON - The city's school system has fired a police officer for creating and distributing a "Ghetto Handbook."

The eight-page booklet, handed out to other police officers at a May roll call, said the definitions it contained would allow readers to speak as if they "just came out of the hood." It was subtitled "Wucha dun did now?"

tooooooooo damn funny

I do love when people use "I'm married or dating one" as an excuse when they do stuff. If that was a joke, it wasn't funny. Even in a professional environment, if the cop was black, it would still be a dumb ass thing to do. That's something a stand up comedian comes up with.

^I know you've been paying attention.

haha, he put all the effort into the thing only to get fired because of it.

That's so whack yo, mothaf**kin racist po po!!

A cop trying to relate to blacks. There's Bizarro for ya.

so ghetto = black now? there are no white poor people in the ghetto? news to me.

LMFAO!

I expected to see this on some sitcom, but not in real life.

But you guys see where this handbook might come in handy right?

I want to see it. "Whucha dun did now" is a great title.

I've seen actual books like that, and urbandictionary is an entire site of that...I dont see what the big deal is other than people crying racism over a f**king joke...

I really don't know what to say here. But that is one stupid cop. I had a Dare officer if anyone even remembers those guys. But anyways I had a Dare officer get fired over the fact that he took a crap load of cocaine and held his girlfriend at gunpoint. So it was just messed up.

If it's a dumb website, it's fine. But these are cops. On the job.

Terry is right. its not about race or what the cop did. Its the fact that he did it. professionalism, you know?
