For a track runner Flash sure did run really slow. Did anyone else think so?

If they were on Fox they would have been canned after 3 eps.

And I'm not impressed so far either. They need to get the hell off Earth already. I'll give it a few more episodes but if they continue to just go back and forth between worlds than it's going to kill it for me.

Nope and I am not even sure like painkillerjane it will get to run its full 21 episodes left.
Critic's did say the pilot was lackluster though and that the first and second episodes were really good so we shall see.

The Pilot was ok and the second episode was not bad, but I still think it's too early to judge.

It needs to get more exciting and epic. The action in the pilot was all very small screen and mediocur. It needs to get way more exciting and the actions scenes much, MUCH cooler and Flash needs to get more heroic and badass. I will say that it needs a proper opening title sequence, perhaps with the Queens theme song.

Thought the Pilot was okay and the second episode was definitely a step up. Can't wait for the third episode and hope the show lasts, by the way things are going- seems to be getting better episode by episode. Next week they go back to Mongo which should be cool.

Yet again I'm new the Flash Gordon mythos, so I'm just along for the ride of this show/adaptation.

I agree. Basically, to me it seems Flash "Smallville" Gordon. I want to see people like Prince Baron,and other supporting cast. The guy playing Zarkov is just plain annoying.
I don't mind a re-invention like they did with Battlestar Galactica, but at least make Flash Gordon more like he is suppossed to be a space adventurer.
If the show doesn't do something quick, I definately see cancellation soon.

I have absolutely 0 feelings towards this show. I neither hate, or love it. it is just kind of there.

I did like how Ming made his decision about the water theif. You gotta rule with a iron fist. His daughter is a moron.

I'm coming around to this show, but it feels like we're dealing more with a three part Pilot instead of just one. The episodes feel more interlinked than anything else.

Thus far I feel like it's moving pretty slow though. We've only been to Mongo once and that's something of an issue to me. Having the threats come Flash's way just isn't working. Get Flash there, stir some trouble, and start making him the hero that is in the source material or at least get closer.

Well strike two second episode seemed like it should have been part of the pilot.

I really want to give the show a chance but really its just bad all around and while I keep hoping it will get better and strand them on Mongo like it should.

I have my doubts and man of man the cring worthyness of some scenes in this show like a cop with a loaded gun letting some barley dressed guy in furs pull out a whip and just hit him with it ummmm can you say mega cringe.

One maybe two more episodes for me for this show to turn around after that I will go to watching paint dry and it will be a step up.

Bleh...I thought the parts of the 2nd ep that took place on Mongo were somewhat interesting...but the parts of the story that took place on earth I found just boring.

When I think of Flash Gordon, I think of laser blasting fights, spaceships, aliens, action on other worlds... Not this "rifts opening up in a small country town"

sigh...

Watched a couple of the old serials on the game 'Darkness' and I really want to see some cool monsters such as Lizards, Claw monsters, and Monkey Men.

The second episode was fairly entertaining. The Mongo parts were actually interesting and the Earth bit was funny. I for one laughed.

I'm catching it more and more late at night, which I find ironic. Sci-Fi must be really needing to fill the late night spaces.
