I'd say he is an injured Metropolis survivor AND Metallo.

Probably just personal reasons.

If his legs will be "out" he might need to build upper body strength (his upper body does look a bit bulkier than normal...I notice he has really narrow shoulders).

I know when I was on crutches my arms got really muscular etc. because I couldn't really use my legs

He's not the Flash.

They wouldn't just put green screen on his feet to knee and avoid thighs if he was the Flash. Humans don't run just with their knees.

I think if Hamilton is not somehow being brought back, someone has to fill the need for a scientist in the movie. Maybe his own accident causes him to work on robotics technology. There are many theories we can all come up with and like 99% will be wrong :hehe:

If they did, he's going to look like a cartoon roadrunner or a blue hedgehog :o

Metallo please!

maybe he's getting use to his bionic legs or something.
Not to drag this off topic or anything, but can someone please explain to me the obsession with Metallo appearing in this film? Was there a leak I missed, or a rumor or something?

He's a really cool villain, and we've yet to see an awesome, big-budget, live-action version of him.

I think we do need at least one other villain in this movie. I imagine there to be only one grand battle with Batman and Superman and that's not enough. Lex certainly isn't going to be slugging it out with anyone.

^Although I think there will be a physical threat, I don't think there necessarily needs to be. Joker wasn't a physical threat to Batman after all.

Well I don't think there was enough action in MOS :o

It was too much situated in the second and third acts and it was overkill.
The action in this movie should be spaced out in smaller segments throughout. I definitely think there should be another physical threat for that.

Cause he's an awesome villain! he has a heart made of kryptonite!

IMO it'd be a great way to introduce Kryptonite, John corben is citizen that was injured in the battle of metropolis, that'd be a great way to make him hate Superman, and maybe Lex builds him a cyborg body somehow lol. Metallo could be the missing link to Victor stone aka Cyborg, it's time for Metallo.

And Metallo is the perfect opponent for both Batman and Superman, one of the few that is equally threatening to both of them and that both of them can fight in the almost same manner... he's a threat to Superman because of the kryptonite and to Batman for all the obvious reasons that come with cyborg that has enhanced strength and durability. :woot:
Also, because he's so hard to kill, neither Batman nor Superman would need to hold back, Sups could throw him away and strike him with heat vision and Bats could go all out with explosives and electric stunning.

I see it in my head now, it would be a great fight scene...

:woot: Exactly!

Has anyone mentioned Hermes? He looks the part, the CGI on the legs would make sense, it's how they can tie Wonder Woman world into the story, with him being on Metropolis to see what was going on in Earth to notify the Gods.

Forgive my ignorance, but what do Hermes' legs look like in the WW comics?
I know that, as a messenger, he wore feathered sandals in Greek mythology, but I've never seen him in the comics.

Don't be overreactive. the action was well placed, since the beginning till the end. it's just TASTES like yours (totally respected) but not universally speaking and the real deal. The action was one of this movie strenght, had its causes, and it had a solid development if you ask me.
I think the problem is that we have never seen that kind of threat, neither that kind of power developed on screen before, NEVER. :cwink: And some just because they haven't seen that they want to complain (not saying you're) about anything even if there wasn't a problem.

Of course this movie with one human dressed as a bat, the action will not be the same. And they will focus on both characters strenghts (Supes powers and Bats fighting skills) and adapting them on the big screen. ;)
