Scorsese's The Irishman

I’m excited to see this movie on Netflix in the comfort of my own home. I just don’t have this need to go out to the theaters and deal with people every time I want to see a movie.

I prefer going to the theater for movies if I can. I find the environment less distracting. Life has way too many distractions, even in your own home

Reminds me of the 27 year old Travis Bickle that looks 35. I just don’t think Scorsese gets how age works. :o
 
It is almost like they should have actually cast another fine young actor to play the younger version of the older actor. I guess that would have been a mistake though. That kind of thing never works out. Just ask De Niro.
 
I'm starting to get tired of de-aging, tbh. It can still be used well, but here....
De-aging for little story bits, like how Marvel uses it, is fine. But if you are going to do this for a large part of the movie, you need it to at least be the quality of SLJ in Captain Marvel. And even then, I wouldn't recommend it. While his face was pretty awesome, it was also clear he wasn't a young man.
