Scorsese's The Irishman

Yeah it's quite surprising that Pacino and Scorsese have never done a movie together before, and that's also part of the reason of why I was so excited for this. I'm glad the early buzz is positive, but I want to wait until the official review come out before I get too hyped.

Reviews have been crazy good.

So...this is a comedy? Did not see it coming.

I was not expecting that either but then again I never expected going into Wolf of Wall Street and laughing so hard that I nearly cried. (Quaaludes scene)

I'm still trying to be cautious with my expectations. There's a lot of Scorcese worship, I'm guilty of it to.

The man is one of our greatest living filmmakers. The time when we are disappointed in a film of his will be a really off occasion, and thinking he is more likely to disappoint lacks grounds by this point. There's no reason to think this will be disappointing. I can see if the de aging might not be great, but the man knows how to craft a story like no other, and I don't suspect that would interfere with it.

What's not to worship? It's Scorsese. He's the man.

There's a benefit to watching a three and a half hour film in your own home in that it's more comfortable. But goddammit, you don't often get to see epics like this. I'm gonna try to see this in the theater.

Yes, a film like this shouldn’t get lost in a streaming cycle. I’m glad it’s getting at least a month, but Netflix should consider extending its theatrical window.

This is by far my most anticipated movie of the last quarter of the dear.
I‘m so happy, I can watch this at home in my piyamas on my comfortable couch with my gf and with no annoying neighbors speaking throughout the movie

I'm THRILLED about those reviews. The CGI in new trailer still looks odd but apparently it's a non issue in the movie

I just realized we probably won't get this on Blu Ray or any other Home media...
