I seriously doubt that WB authorized him to drop all this information on his Twitter account on almost daily basis. Whether he's lying or speaking the truth, he strikes me as an attention ****e rather than someone who's been officially enlisted by studio to pass info to fans.

Wouldn't surprise me. Seems to be the MO for comic book movies to sign actors for multi-picture deals (IIRC, that was one reason Joaquin Phoenix didn't sign on for Doctor Strange; on a side and off-topic note, Phoenix would be great as Maxwell Lord).

My guess is he's just a reoccurring Military character, part of Waller's Military unit. Kind of like the Carrie Ferris character from Man of Steel, only with a larger role in the storyline. I think it's pretty obvious he's not Hal Jordan, Steve Trevor or Deathstroke. If he's a known character the best bet is probably Nemesis.
