Have there been pics of Common's character? I don't recall having seen any.

Yeah, one or two. He has a tattoo (of course :D) of an EYE on his forehead.

Tats remind me of Tattoo Man or maybe even Dr. Mist.

Jacket and Fangs makes me think Bronze Tiger

If he's Bronze Tiger I'd be so disappointed. No reason for those tats and look. But again...I fear they combined him with another character.

Ah, okay. Thanks. Yeah, looks like he could be the Tattooed Man.

I think that's who he should be credited as "The Man with No Name". DC then should introduce his character into the comics.

#ScottEastwood on his #SuicideSquad character reveal: "You won't see it coming."

I don't buy the Hal and Dick theories, so I guess Deathstroke? Up until now I was thinking he was just playing Random Soldier #14.

One of the guys thats been consistent with info on IMDB says he's just playing a soldier.

Not playing any known comic book character.

I think he's Grayson. Working with Bruce still, keeping an eye on Waller and the Squad.

He's Clayface in disguise. :o

-edit- Poll needs to be updated... :cwink:

I have thought this for months. I finally signed up just to say something.
Dick Grayson makes perfect sense. He is currently a field agent/spy type in the comics. Also, Ayer did mention following canon with this movie/group. The question, was he speaking canon in respect to the DCU or this particular comic title?
Dick Grayson has never been a part of this Suicide Squad, but then again, the character does not appear to be part of group per se nor does he need to be. I think it would just be a stellar turn if it was Grayson. He would immediately become the break-out fan favorite if it went that direction.
My second choice, and one that would actually make as much, if not more sense in regards to Suicide Squad canon: Roy Harper. His character was very much involved with this group of characters in the comics. PLUS he too was an agent/spy for Checkmate for a number of years in the comics. If DC Entertainment can double dip on Barry Allen then Roy Harper should be fair game too (not to mention Eastwood looks more like the Arsenal type).
We shall see. I can't believe they would waste him as Prison Guard #2. Way too much potential with this actor and a Universe of characters.

Sounds like BS, but I'll post it anyway

"He doesn't work for WB but has friends that do" nothing more legit than that.

LOL

Well, I don't believe that "source" at all, but I do think there's a strong possibility that Scott could be playing Jericho and winds up getting killed or injured in the film, which leads to his daddy Slade showing up to take revenge in a sequel.

Also, the Grifter suggestion is cool. I doubt we'll see any Wildstorm characters in this universe, but I'd be down with it. Cole is awesome.
