I always thought it was weird that Conway was in Scream 2 for three lines in 2 minutes and that was it...
Conway?

Conway?
So, when he`s unmasked what`ll his excuse be? Everyone else was doing it?
Thanks man and Yes i love that song too. It's a staple for these films.
Here's the thing. The killer not being caught at that end WON'T happen. Craven has said 4 is stand alone and gives no hints of another one, so therefore the killer will be unmasked at the end and killed.
I'm sure holding off the killer's identity 'til 6 won't happen, I just want it to happen.
It's not. It's a legit product of love. Craven was the LAST person alongside Neve Campbell that wanted to do another Scream film.
Also disagree about 2 and 3.
I said this a few months ago so I'll repeat it now. Only because I noticed something new.
Scream 4 seems to have a heavy influence on Hitchcock.
Patty = Partricia is the name of Alfred Hitchcock's daughter.
Marnie = The title of a Hitchcock film.
Rebecca = Another title of a Hitchcock film. She was originally named Bette in the film, almost certain it's alluding to All About Eve with Bette Davis who play a star with a jealous assistant.
Apparently Jill and Olivia live right next door to each other and Kirby and Jill watch Olivia meet her end from Jill's bedroom window (Rear Window anyone? Another Hitchock film).
Also read the plot of Tenebre from Dario Argento. It's a bout an author on a publicity tour in Rome who finds himself targeted by a killer who's copycating the events of his latest novel. Sidney Prescott is an author in the new film and goes on a publicity tour in Woodsboro.....and now people start getting killed again.
And now I just noticed THIS :

Back to Rear Window. Maybe these two creepers are the killers (or one of them is and the other doesn't know) who are obsessed with recreating Hitchcock in Woodsboro.....or it could be something completely different and I'm just crazy haha.
Why though? Wouldn't you feel unsatisfied with such a big loose end like that not being tied up until two movies later?
Neve hasn't been in anything lately so I would think she would be more than happy to be back in a big movie.
That is fine that you love the Scream series, I grew up with them as they are one of the films that defined the 90s, but how was Scream 3 not a terrible movie in your opinion? If this film does make a profit, this will turn into the Saw series...which made itself into a terrible franchise from a good first movie with countless, unnecessary sequels. If this film is to be any good, it needs to only reference the first film and leave alone the third and second movie.
Never said it was.Neve LOVES small indie films. Scream was NEVER her type of movie. So no, she's not just passing it off as a labor of love. She absolutely HATED the idea of a Scream 4.
A career is not judged based on huge tentpole/blockbuster franchises.
Painfully so.I know I've said it before but...Rory Culkin seriously needs a haircut.
I completely agree, and that's one of the things that'll make this film so interesting. I mean, the psoter even says it. "New Decade.New Rules." I'm just really looking foward to seeing what new things that killer has in store. The interesting thing about this new movie is that it's 10 years later........
It's not only who the killer is that needs to be shocking, but their motive.
