I like Dewey alot. I like his awkward demeanor. And I like that he's still here.

"What is she doing here?"

"She's with me!"

His face and delivery on that line was great.

It wasn't until Scream 2 that early script leaked out. For the better I think. Because if it didn't, we would have gotten that bad outcome from the leaked script. The changes made the film better and equal to the first.

Now that I think about it, Stu being the killer would have been much better than Roman. I just didn't like the entire family thing. It seem contrived.

The Roman reveal was also kind of underwhelming because there was so much hype. At least I didn't see it coming though.

Me too. But didn't Gale say Roman was dead when she checked his pulse when he "died?"

I liked Roman as Ghostface but was never a fan of the revelation he planned the murder of Sidney's mother. Kind of took away from the impact of the first movie, IMO.

She does check his pulse , then when Posey asks " Is he dead?" , Gales says , "oh very".

I wonder if this is a continuity error.

He had practiced the art of "slowing his heart-rate" to a dead like state...

lol:whatever:

Maybe he took something to slow or weaken his pulse/heart rate before then, preparing in case he was checked?

There is a technique to slow your heart rate down . I guess if she was checking him in a frantic state she might not of been able to detect his pulse but this is assumption.

Just think how lucky we were in 1996? Just house-phones and word of mouth was all there was to spoil the original...

Scream 4 killer will probably be a trending topic on twitter. I'm not even sure I would want to read a review.

That's feasible, too.

I met Wes Craven today

He was one of my top 5 directors I'd like to meet, so I'm happy

I'm just glad I didn't geek out about it to him, LOL!

That's good that you didn't , if he's more comfortable then he can open up . I've been in the position to speak to some famous people before but just wasn't sure what to say . What did you ask and say to him?

I just asked to get a pic with him. He was cool about it

Seems the reviews from screening went well. No hardcore spoilers as far as I can tell, but I'm hearing the deaths were brutal, the acting was good, the pacing was good, that it was suspenseful.

Pretty much everyone said this, even the one jerk who says it was worse than Scream 3, which sorta makes no sense, but whatever.

Run Time is apparently around an hour and 40 to 50 minutes. But general conseus is Scream 4 is a success. :D

Spoiler that will make everyone happy. In the credits Kevin Williamson IS listed as the one sole writer for Scream 4.

What's being said about the gore level of the movie and the kinds of deaths in it? Spoiler tags, of course. And no giveaways as to who actually dies, just what kind of gory deaths occur.

They said the gore level is in the level of Sweeney Todd or H2, if less realistic. No direct details about deaths have been given. Apparently everyone who saw the movie had to sign papers not to speak much about the actual details of the film. I know there was said to be a death that includes a ceiling fan and one where a defibrillator comes into play.

Those sound pretty brutal. I'm curious to see those play out in the film.

That's awesome! :applaud
