They also "killed" Roman, too. But that was bogus because Gale checked his pulse and said he had none. Don't know how he faked that.

He could have pulled the old trick of learning to slow ones own heart-rate really low, leaving just a faint pulse that resembles a dead person.

Really, all they had to do to fix that was not have Gale check. I don't know why she did, no one every did in 3 films but that scene. Kinda weird...

Content was amazing. That said, I'm still waiting on high res HD pure clarity trailers. All of them look like 56L downloads. Also (for my fellow film maker buffs out there) some of that ADR dialogue just took me out of the trailer. That kills me when I catch that stuff in movies. I hope it was just for the trailer and not in the movie.

I was thinking the same thing. Mrs Loomis and Mickey did some copycat kills, and they even used a camera to film the victims when he was stalking them.

It's like they're making an extension of that.

I just saw the new trailer that came out on friday I think and still, its a movie that I'm not thrilled about it. I will check it out dont get me wrong, but it's no were near my top 10 must see films of 2011.
It just looks kinda dumb

The whole remake idea is the most logical way to go. I'm really happy they're going with it. But filming them and posting them on the internet is another brilliant idea and an extension of what Mickey did in the second.

Mickey being referenced would be great. The guy never gets as much attention as Billy and Stu and Mrs. Loomis.

Since the killer is remaking the events of the first film, this will be great to twist around our expectations of what can happen in terms of motivations and characters. If Jill has a boyfriend, we can expect him being a suspect. Jill being like the new Sydney possibly. Who knows what will happen. If the killer is trying to remake the events of the first film, he'll probably be trying to turn them on their heads.
