The Dark Knight Screen Tests, Photography and filming

When are we going to see those screen tests?
If ever...
This is the question. :down:csad:

I'd love to see the BB screentests especially Cillian Murphy, Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaals. Apparently all the actors wore the Forever suit.

i love seeing screen tests.. i really enjoyed seeing sam niels james bond screen test.

When did he test? For Living Daylights or Goldeneye?
Mind you, who saw Craig as Bond initially? For me, he nailed it.

Brosnan was all set to go in the living daylights as james bond. but because of remington steel.. had to pull out.

I was never one of those people who worried about Daniel Craig. Of course that was largely because I had given up on the Bond franchise at that point. I was of the belief that the series could never recover from the one-two punch of sheer awfulness that was "The World is Not Enough" and "Die Another Day."

I was giving up. I wasn't going to ever watch another Bond movie. So when they announced Casino Royale, as a reboot, I was curious, but not excited. When they announced that it was going to be set in modern day instead of the 50's or 60's, I was doubtful.

When they announced the casting of Daniel Craig, I honestly could not have cared less. I didn't know him from Adam and I didn't judge him one way or the other. I was totally apathetic.

A funny thing happened, though. When people began to vocally trash the guy, and I saw their reasons for doing so... I started to like the casting. It meant we had a profound shake-up happening, and that was long overdue, IMO. So I began to get cautiously optimistic.

When I saw the first pictures of him as Bond, I thought he had a great look. I was thinking about how my man Connery was rugged and cruel-looking, the perfect Bond. And I was thinking how far away from that we'd gone with Moore and even Brosnan (whose casting I supported). What I saw in Daniel Craig was the look of a villain, and that had me curious. He looks nothing like Connery but he has the same intensity.

And then the trailer. When I saw the trailer, and I heard Judi Dench say, "this may be too much for a blunt instrument to understand..." and I saw Bond beating the hell out of a guy in a bathroom... I sat up in my chair and went, "my God, it's not possible they've got it this right."

But they did.

yeah me too , that would be cool , it would make a sweet set of extras for a DVD . The same with all the actors that tested for the different versions of Superman that were in development .

Casino Royale is one of the best Bond movies I've seen.

What I was driving at was that he didn't seem an obvious choice for the role, being such a difference from what had gone before, and in fact there was a lot of heat directed at him from fans. There was even the whole 'James Blond' thing. He didn't have a lot of support, and not much excitement about his casting.
But when the trailer came out - wow! You sat up, you went - yes! They got it! Campbell saw something in Craig that very few else did.
I hope in a few months time with the TDK trailer we'll be saying the same about Nolan and Ledger!

P.S. Agree about Die Another Day, but I quite enjoyed The World Is Not Enough.

Ah. I'm still old school on the Bond movies. All of my 007 movies are on vhs.

Casino Royale is the first Bond i bought on dvd.

thats a shame..his screen test was very good.. i think they should release some of them on the dvds.. i think i would have loved to have seen brosnans.
