I'll put these here for anyone who wants to see. They are a bit grainy, but here they are. :)

All of the males are pretty much known...even if we haven't seen them in an episode, we at least know their identities. All of the women except for Mama Petrelli are mysteries though.

ETA - Well, so much for all the men being knowns. Dude on the bottom right hasn't seemed to be revealed yet.

hmmm, Mr. Petrelli kinda resembles Kensei to me...
Hard to tell though. Who looks off to the side for a photograph...

I think the fact that Dallas Petrelli's face isn't clearly shown is a heads up that the character may appear in the present or via flashback, but an actor still hasn't been cast.

They still haven't revealed how he really died, something we were promised this season by one of the writers.

This season is reminding me of Gen 13...anyone remember that comic?!? They were "Gen Active" due to their parents. Weren't they (the parents) called "Gen 12" or some group with the number 12 in it.

Also, I think the black woman on the left if DL's mom.

my theroy is that parkmans dads power is he can turn into or control cockroaches hench why they can't find him. Could be why heis helping sylar.

i don't think Petrelli is Kensei. if you read the graphic novels, Petrelli is amazed and shocked that people have abilities. in fact, Dallas (Petrelli) gets shot and Austin (Linderman) heals him. if Petrelli were Kensei, he would've self-healed. Petrelli freaks out, asking "what did you do to me?" the narrator's voice is Petrelli's (in the form of an official field report) and says that what Austin did "it scared me more than Charlie shooting bullets at me every day for the last two years...because at least Charlie was something I could understand."

Kensei is not Petrelli and Kensei is not Linderman.

Unreliable Narrator?

no. read chapters 24-29.

Okay, just read through them and the whole account, from the start of the op up until the visit from Linderman at the end is told through Petrelli's report, so I still think the U.N. possibility is solid.

I'm not saying that I BELIEVE this is the case, I just think it's an interesting idea.

Still, going slightly off-topic, the canon status of the comics should only hold as long as they're not preventing them from telling the best stories that they can, IMO. The minute the continuity of the comics gets in the way of the show's integrity, is about the time they should be ignored.

BTW, here's a better screenshot swiped from another board:

and i would agree if it were just narration, but we have the accompanying visuals as well. reading his expressions, his actions, etc., i think it's pretty clear.

But not only is it the report: every chapter started off with a shot of Hana reading the report, so we're possibly experiencing the story three dimensions removed (ACTUAL EVENTS - HEAVILY CENSORED REPORT - HANA'S INTERPRETATION). Now, I don't think they were planning that far ahead, but it gives them a plausible out if they decide to take it in a different direction and not be held down by a niche offshoot of the narrative.

I was thinking something like this as well except I think we have already seen Dallas Petrelli and just don't know it yet and he has something to do with what's going on now which is why they didn't show his face.

is it just me or does it look like kaitoan angela are holding hands ???

heres somewhat of a better screenshot of seven of the Twelve..personally i think Mr. Petrelli is a lot clearer here, just click the thumbnail for a larger version

i thought so, too. can't place her name. ohh....she looks like the woman who played Rick Moranis' wife in Parenthood.

maybe matts dad has the same power as peter

Looks like it was taken on the rooftop Mr Nakamura was thrown from....with that oval thing.

But didn't Nathan say it was a party at his house?

I think we need to start identifying actors in this photo. Anyone recognize Parkman's father? And that man below Nakamura and Bob looks like he could be someone.

And that black woman in the corner, looks like D.L.'s mom. http://imdb.com/name/nm0509824/
