I'm somewhat disappointed that even when it's escalating to the point it has today, the WWE still hasn't found an effective way of leveraging the polarized Cena fan reactions into something good.

The Bret Hart/Steven Austin, Canada/USA split was absolutely ingenious and completely effective. Not sure if Americans realize this, but not only did Canadian fans support Bret Hart, they hated Austin at the time with a vengeance, when he was the top face for the US fans. I remember a house show in Vancouver where Austin got pelted with as much garbage as Hogan did when he joined the NWO. A house show.

watched survivor series yesterday
got chills when the rock came down to the ring :D he's still got it even after 7 years away from the ring

I miss it :csad:

Oh Brooke Adams :hrt:

If the WWE are indeed turning Cena heel, I think it will be a slow process. From SS to the next night on Raw, they pulled at the strings, from Rock humiliating Cena to Awesometruth telling Cena how it is.

Cena clearly looked phased by Awesometruths words and reacted angrily.
I like that Cena is trying to sound like everything is just peachy. A slow build
up to him finally snapping is needed. That will make it far more emotional and
real, instead of a out of nowhere turn.

I'm a bit out of the loop. Is Kane returning with his mask on?

Some shots in the promo show him with the mask off, some with the towel over his head and of course with both mask and towel on his head.

It's very all over the place.

And it ends with the mask burning

It seems the promo was just highlighting different aspects of the character throughout his career-glove, mask, towel etc

As much as I would love to see the mask back on, it wouldn't be really effective as it once was.

Ultimate Warriors has previews of his new show. Looks hilarious, bunch of emo kids getting yelled at as they drag chains. Can't post of the videos due to Warrior dropping the f bomb a dozen times.

Warrior won't let you let yourself down

that's from his website back when he was pitching his "Personal Fitness" system

I see everyone talking about two promo videos last night, I saw the one with Kane's mask on fire, what was the other one?

Here is that video Hunter.

First time I've seen that. That's a better filmed video promo than most. Very dramatic and subtle. Is it for Taker?

That one didn't actually air on the show, but was a link to a youtube channel that flashed up on one of the twitter graphics during it program. With the link to the social media element, alot of people have apparently jumped to it being Jericho, but apparently it's being reported that talked between him and the WWE have fallen through, so it's not for him.

-- "Awesome Truth" was split on last night's Raw SuperShow in part to WWE creative's plan to insert The Miz into the title picture over the next few months.

-- Booker T handled broadcast duties during last night's Raw SuperShow due to Jerry Lawler losing his voice.

-- Santino Marella, who generally tweets in character, wrote the following this afternoon: "Stuck in DC airport since 730am and my flight leaves now at 5pm, so pissed."

-- Sin Cara is believed to have undergone surgery today after suffering a patella tendon rupture when he jumped out of the ring during the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match at Survivor Series.

- WWE had advertised actor Jonah Hill to guest host last night's RAW Supershow from Hershey, Pennsylvania but he did not appear.

Word going around is that Hill actually taped his segments for RAW weeks ago in Los Angeles and he was never scheduled to appear live.

Yesterday's RAW was re-written several times during the day and there's speculation that the show changed so much, Jonah's pre-taped videos wouldn't have made sense with the changes.

The USA Network was still airing commercials for Jonah's appearance right up until RAW went on the air.

All Rock has shown is what Cena and Punk showed in the summer and HBK and Jericho showed week after week when they were there, hell Triple H as well just this last summer. Let the hungry young guys talk for themselves and they will get over, Rock has total freedom on the mic, a lot of the other guys have to follow the company line.

IF the WWE allowed John Cena to open up on The Rock instead of this namby pamby crap they have him doing, I think you'd see a rare difference.

Yeah, man. Everything I see of Cena tells me that he has personality that isn't coming out in his promos. Sadly, I feel the same thing is starting to happen to Punk, too; it feels like they've been reigning him in (though maybe this is just because he has no strong rival to rail against; Johnny Ace is the worst thing EVER).

They have to realize that reigning in their superstars is not the way to help them succeed.

On the plus side, they're doing well with Rhodes and Ziggler (though Ziggler needs some bigger wins), who I think are the future of the company right now.

Eh... Can't say I'm that interested in a Punk/Miz feud.

I guess everything is going to seem lacluster next to the Punk/Cena feud. Now, if Jericho was around... then we'd be in business.

I can see Miz fulfilling the "corporate chosen one" role vs. Punk's anti-establishment character.

Maybe Miz and Punk can actually have a good match this time. Miz hasn't had a good match with a top level guy yet.

I hope they aren't thinking Punk vs Miz for the belt at Mania. It should be Punk vs HHH.

Shame that outside of the promos it'll most likely be a **** feud.

Ziggler certainly doesn't seem have problem putting on a good match with the top three guys. Maybe Miz should get some pointers lol.
