Scrubs: Season 8 on a new network

I'm sort of indifferent to Lucy as a character. But she's pretty so I'm ok with her.

So far any scene involving veterans have been funny.

Ugh, pretty much any scene with the newbies is still cringe worthy. And the security guards are terrible.

Stop whining about the security guards. They didn't even 1 minute of screen time.

I'm not sure how they could bring back Sunny and have Lucy. They're essentially the same character just Lucy is neurotic.

Drew's the only character that works and Jo is still good. Everyone else new sucks. Oh, and Aussie girl taking the dodgeball to the face was great.

Well that's because they've had the means to only use the elder cast as a sort of relief... The meat and potatoes of the actual story is told through the newbies, so they can really take the gloves off when penning scenes for the old regulars.

I agree, though Cole doesn't bother me much. Lucy is just annoying and she's pretty much a female JD, with the same neurotics and the need for a mentor. They really should've made Drew the main character.

Drew's got crazy-eyes.

My biggest concern with the show. Assuming it manages to get another season, what are they going to do. focus on another new class of newbies? or are they going to make the current newbies into interns. if they become interns, doesn't the new format go out the window, then we're just left with the old scrubs, with new characters?

Med school lasts four years, so I guess they'd move into their second year.

they could easily milk 4 years out of this med school format with the current newbies....if the show lasts that long.

I love Scrubs. This episode showed that they still have heart. Oh and that bit where Drew got the pat on the back and JD freaked was pretty cool.

How many episodes is Sarah Chalke supposed to appear in?

I don't know but I hope she comes back, even in a cameo role, before J.D. leaves for good. Also, I liked that they mentioned Carla in tonight's episode.

I missed Sarah's cameo appearance from last week.

"Who has two thumbs and doesn't give a crap? Bob Kelso!"

her cameo role was the preview clip that was posted here before the episode aired last week. I think you can still see the video on here if you go back a couple pages.

Oh, I saw that preview clip.

The premiere episodes were better.

I liked all the scenes with JD in them. I just don't know if Lucy can hold this show up. Her delivery is very flat. The only new character I really like is Denise (or as I still like to call her, Joe). She is a great character, but all of the other newbies just don't seem to mesh well with the story.
