Scrubs: Season 8 on a new network

I like the hot Aussie.

I also liked how they referenced an episode from last season as well as Carla and Elliot. And the return of the Gooch!

I liked this week's episode better then last week's. Lucy narration felt more natural and not as forced. Great JD and Turk scenes. The Ted and Dr. Kelso scenes seemed off I thought though.

Yeah, the Kelso/Ted interaction did seem off. I think it was because Ted was so self aware. It was more like a parody of Ted than Ted.

I thought that they did a much better job of writing off the Janitor than they did with Ted.

I'm glad Ted finally got the recognition he always wanted, especially from Kelso.

You forgot to complain about the security guards.

The security guards were pretty stupid last night. They're just trying to substitute the Janitor...

I don't agree with that...the Janitors whole bit was being malicious towards JD and most everyone else except for Carla and Elliott

those guys are the oddball characters, but the character interaction is different

Either way, Bill Lawrence and co. really need to cut the **** with those two.

I can't believe you're all hating on the Miller High Life guy. You should all be ashamed of yourselves :o

Well, the dude is pretty awful outside of those commercials, so it's warranted.

Otherwise, I'm intrigued enough to DVR the show and watch it when I get to it.

About Ted in the last ep... I think they were trying to convey his new self awareness as a growth of his character - finally growing as a person and getting out of the shell he'd been in for apparently decades.

The End is Nigh

This just in: ABC to double run SCRUBS (8 & 9 ET), TED (8:30 & 9:30 ET) for the month of January (completing their 13-episode runs)

Sounds like both are done. Annoying how they can't do 1 hour blocks of both.

Better Off Ted is good...but for Scrubs...sigh, I'm sad to say it, but its for the best.

Scrubs should have ended last season anyways. A perfect ending was ruined.

Oh well. It was a good idea that wasn't executed well. It's for the best. Now I can season eight's finale can be the series finale.

No way the show would have returned had the pilots that featured Donald Faison and John C. McGinley been picked up.

While as a fan I agree, I have to stick with behind what Bill Lawrence said... ABC gave him the chance to keep something like 100 people employed a little while longer. Can't say no to that.

The endings not ruined. This is essentially a spinoff at this point.

MASH had one of the greatest, most viewed finales but it still spawned 2 spinoffs

The show just needs better jokes. I like the characters, the acting's fine for the most part, it just lacks the belly laughs that made me fall in love with the original cast.

I like Drew, Lucy, Denise, and Maya, but I really hate Cole. Its like they made The Todd less funny and then gave him more screentime.

I think if they put cole into a stable relationship with lucy (is that the new protagonists name? can't remember) and had him grow out of his *****iness it'd make his character more interesting. give him some development ya know?
