Daredevil Season 1, Episode 10 "Nelson v. Murdock" (USE SPOILER TAGS!)

He had every right to act the way he did.

Oh he so did!

My heart broke for them. I loved that it was written like a breakup. The Foggy/Matt bromance is as much the heart of the Daredevil books, and the show capitalized on that perfectly.

Oh, the only thing missing for me was we didn't get to see the first, or only, time Matt touched Foggy's face, LOL!!! I would've loved that if they made it part of the flashbacks. But I didn't even realize that this episode was so light on action, because the character work was so strong.

This was by necessity a quieter "breather" episode in the wake of the jawdropping "Speak of the Devil." But just because the plot fireworks were kept to a minimum didn't mean rich drama couldn't be mind elsewhere from the characters. Here, more than any episode, I was really sold on the friendship between Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. And here, Elden Henson was the star player, brilliantly portraying the hurt and betrayal Foggy feels on discovering his friend is not all he thought him to be. But Charlie Cox was right there with them, and the moments where he broke down into tears over the shame he felt for letting Foggy down were quite moving. Their strained friendship was at the core of the episode, but there was also stellar work from Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Urich and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and some very intriguing elements coming into play on the Fisk storyline that I look forward to seeing unfold.
Agree with all of this, but particularly the bolded. Best parts of the episode (in that tug at my heartstrings kind of way)

Really enjoyed the chance of pace tbh. Like everyone else here, I loved the flashbacks.

Also love Foggy's ability to be funny and not ruin the moment "now you're just showing off" because by now we know it's his character, not just a chuckle moment.

The bit with Page and Ulrich finding Fisk's Mom was odd, unless Page already knew about her (although it didn't seem so, to me). But she must have, right?

You will find out ;)
