Arrow Season 7, Episode 16: "Star City 2040"

Been looking forward to this one since it was announced.

I wonder why Mia took Felicity’s last name and not Oliver’s? Maybe something happens where she would be in danger if people knew she’s Oliver’s daughter?

The running theory is that the Ninth Circle is looking for Oliver's bloodline, so Felicity does it to hide her.

Even though William is over a decade older than Mia, he acts more like a younger brother lol

This has me curious about Diggle’s biological son. Would be interesting if he turns out to be a bad guy...

What is the age difference between both of Ollie's kids supposed to be? Going by the actors it feels like 3 years, 5 tops

William is already 14/15 so....Mia is around 19 so William is in her early 30s.

It was nice seeing Nyssa again and having her train Mia was cool. After Roy hasnt had much to do, I was hoping he'd be a much bigger part of the episode. But I'm officially future'd out after this.

It's pretty bad when your series regulars feel like guest stars and your guest stars feel like series regulars.

Mia is one of the most obnoxiously whiny characters I've seen on one of these shows in quite some time. Thank goodness they're not planning to attempt to continue the show with her at some stage, lol.

Continue this show, no, but I have seen rumors of a Black Star spinoff.

Can’t stomach this anymore. This show isn’t even about arrow anymore. Season started out so good. First 5-7 episodes were the best the show has had but the last 3 or so have been as bad as Damian darkh. Why aren’t they giving us more Ollie? Show is based on him and the last 3-4 episodes he feels like a reoccurring character. At this rate I’m not sure I can finish the season.

I like her but yeah, she did not have that rough of a childhood to be as obnoxious as she was in this episode. At least she got to grow up with her parents/Felicity while William had both of his taken away from him. But I wouldnt be surprised if we do get a spin off. CW would want to keep Kat around since she has a strong fanbase.

Agreed. They may lose some Arrow viewers, but they'll keep some and also gain Kat fans (plus possibly fans of female-led shows) without the baggage of having to watch 8 seasons before they get to their girl.

Ok so pass on her as bad casting, the guy is to young(as I said he looks mid to late 20s)
Just because he looks that young doesn't mean he is. The actor very well could be in his early 30s and just looks young.

Overall it was a pretty awful episode. I don’t know why I was looking forward to it. The flash forwards have been pretty boring thus far so not sure why I thought this would be a good episode.

This one barely got me to look up from my phone. Why is the daughter so angry all the time? Why was Felicity hiding in The Glades? What are they all up to? Why should I care?

Not to mention all the Shadowhunter fans.

Did I misinterpret something, or was Ollie implied to still be living when Mia was in that wooden house retreat? If that is indeed true, then his death in the crossover (unless the crossover is a time jump in itself) doesn’t quite add up.
