I liked seeing Sydelle Noel show up in this episode as Agent Watson. This has been a banner year for her, appearing in both GLOW and Arrow.

Never been a fan of the opening (“I am…”) narration on the Berlanti/DC shows. Unnecessary, poorly written and awkwardly performed. So I was pleasantly surprised that all four shows had (apparently) abandoned the narration this season. Except… it was back for last night’s Arrow episode.

:grrr:

More repeated themes. The Russians. Diggle in the Arrow suit. This all feels like filler because they don't have a whole season's worth of ideas to explore again.

Still, Arrow and LoT are on the best footing for this season of the 4 shows.

And a Bruce Wayne/Gotham mention!

The action scenes were fun.

I like that Diggle has a physical damage rather than a mental one.

Maybe whoever leaked the pic of Oliver was that dude that grabbed Black Siren.

I am a little annoyed that not only did no one die on the island (team wise) but no one even has any physical markings to show that they survived an exploding island. Diggle has his nerve problem but thats about it. No scars, missing arms, legs, lol.

Yeah, they're so clumsy. Arguably the only decent one they ever did was the LoT one with Rory taking piss out of the whole thing.

I was surprised they actually name dropped Bruce Wayne in the second episode of this season. I still don't care for Ollie being a dad but the action is this episode was pretty solid as it's usually the highlight of the show for me anyway. It looks like Diggle and Dinah are developing a sort of buddy cop dynamic while Felicity and Terrific continue to provide the humor. Interesting direction with Diggle taking up the Green Arrow persona while dealing with PTSD. Another thing I noticed is that they haven't revealed the big bad for this season yet.
