Secret Invasion

Haha Corp's gonna go crazy.

I hope it's revealed that the [BLACKOUT]Skrull impersonating Bolt was the one that got pwned in WWH #1[/BLACKOUT].

so does this mean theres two Thors running about?

Eh, depends on the time period it negates.

I'm assuming these Skrulls are running around now judging by the present day scene shown in the previews. I could be totally wrong about that, though. But if it is present day, it just seems like instead of thinking it through, Bendis just took three random characters and decided they were Skrulls. I mean, I like [BLACKOUT]Colossus[/BLACKOUT] as much as the next guy, but what the **** does he matter in the grand scheme of things?

This issue is post-WWH, so I believe that

the Skrull was the BB defeated by the Hulk, while the real BB is still caged up from Silent War.

One problem with your theory. The very end of Silent War should take place after World War Hulk. If the end of Silent War took place before World War Hulk, Atilan should have been destroyed and Black Bolt should have been deposed.

My guess is that the real Black Bolt got defeated by the Hulk and the events of Silent War allowed Skrull Bolt to take his place.

Incorrect. WWH is most definitely post-Silent War. The Black Bolt that was exiled at the end of Silent War was the real one. The Skrull Bolt was the one that assumed command of the Inhumans and got beaten so easily in WWH #1. His infiltration was probably made possible/easier by every other Inhuman being influenced by Maximus, which was also shown at the end of Silent War.

There are definetely parts of Silent War that took place before World War Hulk such as when the Inhumans fought the Fantastic Four and killed some regular humans. But if all of Silent War took place before World War Hulk, Black Bolt should not be king standing next to Medusa with an Attilan that doesn't look destroyed.

God damn continuity, too many things happening :csad:

You're making this way too difficult. Black Bolt's whereabouts are unknown as of the end of Silent War #6. Between then and WWH #1, the Skrull took Bolt's place and reclaimed Bolt's seat as king. It's really that simple.

That's just stupid. Especially since Silent War set up so many things for the Inhumans such as trying to get a new home and Black Bolt attempting to get his throne and wife back.

Not showing that would just be lame as hell.

Have you forgotten about what a spoiler is?

Not really, considering the writer, David Hine, has this all planned out and will reveal what's been going on and what's to come for the Inhumans. Try to keep up, fool. :o

That Skrull's a copy of Clor, not Thor. The costume is pretty clearly based on Thor's old costume, not his new one, and Iron Man was the one primarily holding Sklor back, and he was doing it with like 22% of his power; we know from Thor #3 that Thor at his current power level (or a perfect copy that's totally indistinguishable, like Skrull Bolt, Skrullektra, et al.) can easily annihilate a full-powered Iron Man without taking a scratch himself. Thor remains untainted. :)

Also, I bought the Thor: Rebirth issue, even though I already have Thor #'s 1-3. Yes, I am a ****e.

The Colossus one isn't the real Colossus either. You can see that it has Nightcrawler's tail in the first panel it's in, and it's using Cyclop's optic blasts in two of the other panels it appears in. It's just a Skrull engineered to have the powers of the X-Men

I think it's possible that Tony might be a Skrull now though. No one was around after he did the explosion, so there would have time for them to replace him with one.

Yeah, it looks like the first one had all of the Illuminati's powers and the wannabe Colossus has several powers of the X-Men.

Of course, the Thor one, necessarily weaker than the real Thor though it may be, only has the powers of Thor. 'Cause, really, what more do you need?

:D

Considering that they apparently show a Colossus Skrull, I'm wondering if Colossus is still dead all along.

Until we actually see the heroes themselves turn into Skrulls, I think it's a good idea not to say that someone is automatically a Skrull for now.

But the thing is that it would make complete sense for Colossus to be a Skrull.

It would make complete sense for a lot of Marvel's characters to be Skrulls. What's your point?
