Sell me on the Godfather, wii

Well talking here in various threads has piqued my interest in the Wii version of the Godfather.

So....Sell me on it. I'll be away for a week or so, maybe less....when I return I want to read all of your comments and then decide if I should go buy it or not.

1. 1:1 action controls for the most part. When you punch someone yoour character punches someone. When you swing the Wii-mote your characters wings a shovel into someone's face. Grapple the shoulder buttons and shake to strangle, pull to head butt, etc.

2. IGN says this is hands down the best version, including the 360 and PS3 graphical upgrades. It has more content than the PS2, 360 and Xbox versions (the same amount as the PS3 version) but the controls they say put it closer to GTA. Only version to get above an 8.0 there.

It's all set in the 1940s/1950s. Kind of like ganster (with an R) GTA. The enviornments aren't as varied though and there aren't many minigames. But the level of actual progression and the extortion system is far better than the story modes in GTA. But I prefer GTA overall for variety.

Still a great game. Most fun you'll have strangling someone in a video game....yeah.

Roughneck, it is one of the best action titles for the Wii...why more companies can't get these types of controls down...I don't know.

And for all of those people who say that a Wii version of a game won't ever get a higher score than the other two versions...Godfather disproves that.

Another game I recommend for at least a rental is WarioWare. A great party game. Yeah single player gets boring after half an hour. But playing this iwth a bunch of people makes it the premier party game on Wii as of right now, in my opinion.

Roughneck, one that I think is going to be awsome is DragonQuest swords...which also has near 1:1 controls and is taking Japan by storm right now.

It's a first person type RPG where you use the remote as your sword and shield...which is going to rock very hard.

The Dragon Quest games were never popular because of super graphics. These games rival the mighty final fantasy in Japan in popularity..and you know what, they are darned fun too.
