Comics Sensational Spider-man #34

Black Cat no longer has the "bad luck" powers, but thanks to the Tinkerer in the "Invasion of the Spider-Slayers" story arc she has even more dangerous claws, an inner-ear device which helps her balance more, and strength augmenters in her costume. Not sure how strong this makes her, but I'm sure it's nothing super human.

Not to mention his story from Spider-Man Unlimited #3, which was a delight.

It delved into Ock's past a bit more, and had him THISCLOSE to curing the aids virus, if not for that infernal arachnid!

That issue is one of my favorites.

Couldn't agree more.

Yeah, there's no way that BC should be able to even slow down enemies like Sabretooth or Lizard, but just attribute to the writers trying to drum up popularity for the character.

Kind of like when Wolverine beat Lobo back in Marvel vs DC.

I think the Marvel vs. DC fights were voted on by the fans for the winner and Logan won that way.

Yeah, those fights were voted on by fans. I remember voting for Lobo because back then he was the cats pajamas. :o

When you have a question, ask the knower-of-all-things Spider-Man... :woot: :woot: :woot:

so black cat thinks it would be easier to fight rhino then sabretooth? thats kinda retarted, i mean could sabretooth even hurt rhino? anyway it was a great issue nontheless, although the ending made me worry more about the future of pete and mj

After reading Sensational, i now more than ever believe that Marvel's gonna hook Spidey up with Cat again. After all this time she still loves him, but how does Pete feel? Honestly, i personally would like to see Peter with Black cat (she's so fine) again but realistically it would be well, unrealistic. Peter loves MJ to death (literally) and i dont see him sleepin around with anyone else...

I really liked this issue. It was STRONGLY written and a good trip into the Black Cat's psyche. Say what you want about the delay, Smith's run gae the Cat enough depth and interest the likes of Millar, Slott and now Saccra are using her and making her the last srong supporting charactter that hasn't been botched up recently (like Flash...and Liz...and JJJ....and....) besides MJ and Aunt May.

She is a strong characer and it is nice that she is seeing respect she hasn't seen since Mantlo wrote stories back in the era this harkened to like Spidey saving her from Ock and defending her at her hospital bed from Ock's retribution.

And I also like how it set up things so she can try and change and move on. I'd like to see more Cat but I'd like to see her grow more. She is a really great character though.

I agree completely.

KS really helped BC alot and I loved his run (Regardless of the latenesss).

I'm glad that writers are using her more nowadays. She's always been one of my favorite characters and her interactions with Spidey/Peter are always a blast.

When written correctly..Spider-man and Black Cat are just extremely fun to read about. All that tension and so on, I'm glad that Felicia is being given alot of depth.

I have this burning feeling in my gut that Black Cat and ol' Spidey may have themselves some sexual relations in the near future. Hey, a man has needs...ever Spider-Men.

Well listen, I know Spidey has his needs.... but don't forget MJ isn't exactly a "slouch". She's been known to get a lil kinky here and there with the wall crawler herself.:cwink:

That being said...Peter is a freaking pimp.

How the hell can you have a super model and a woman in a skin tight catsuit fighting over you all the time?

Flip a coin Pete, flip a coin...You can't go wrong either way. :yay:

I just bought White Tiger # 4 , which features a brief Lizard appearance (thanks for the heads-up, Captain Stacy!). In seeing the way that the opening battle between White Tiger and Lizzy was presented, I realized that this was the way the Black Cat vs Lizard battle SHOULD have been handled in the "Feral" storyline....

Even though White Tiger is stronger than Black Cat and she does get a few good hits in on the Lizard, it is made clear here that she was out of her league and got lucky when the Lizard took off. The beginning scene with Lizzy threatening the mother and child was kind of out of character for him, but he seems to be holding his head and freaking out instead of directly attacking the woman so I can let that one slide. In any case, THIS is a good example of using a guest-villain without abusing them as a disposable plot-point.

Oh, cool. I just pm'd you to see if you picked it up.

Glad you liked it!

In regards to the mother and child; i got the impression that Lizard was kind of freaking out over a "flashback" he was having in regards to his own family....

Agreed. Even the savage Lizard has been affected by seeing moms and children in the past, so that's probably what's supposed to be happening here.
