September/October Writing Competition

The Living Dead.

Since Halloween is slowly creeping up on us, create a tale about the living dead. It can be about zombies, vampires etc.

Please follow Hype! rules, keep it PG-13.

PM all entries directly to me, Arcturus. The NEW DUE DATE WILL BE OCTOBER 31st. Hopefully this will allow for many entries, and give you enough time to work on your stories.

As usual, do NOT reveal yourself as the author, or your entry will become void. The winners must be chosen by best stories and not by friends.

So with all that said, I am looking forward to your stories.

Hey, I know this is the fan fic section, but could we not move the entries into somewhere with more traffic to see if the voting and the reading of said entries gets a lil more busier?

Either that or someone impartial could maybe advertise and/or railroad people to here so that us writers could reach a wider hype audience?

However(I don't mean to "rundown the rules"), maybe he should wait until the contest has ended before releasing it elsewhere. Considering the author may be revealed.

I'll be sure to remove the authors name before posting them up. As for entries, there haven't been any sent to me yet, I figure sooner or later things will start to get rolling. And yes, you should enter! I'd like to see what you can come up with!

That'd be a nice addition, 'Lobo'. This contest(as it continues growing in entries), just keeps getting better and better. Haven't written mine quite yet, but I'm currently going through the "many ideas" stage. However, I'll write it the final week or so, because I find I get too impatient with waiting for the results. I'm always sitting on the edge of my chair, screaming like a 4th grade student: "Can we go?!..."
