Seriously, WB. Make a Captain Planet movie!

-The villain of the film is actually the people who misuse and completely abuse the planet Earth. However, the conflict of the film come from the angry spirit of the Earth's essence, which is embodied by Gaia (who can actually warn humans about the dangers that lay ahead, yet her temper/mood is completely dependent on how the planet is feeling.

So there's no major villains? Not even Nukem? Hoggish Greedly? The chick with Mal?

The movie only really works if the main villain is humanity. It has to be insanely heavy handed.

Not half as funny as the guy who made seems to think. I almost turned it off about three times because the host was such a *****ebag, but the end part about Captain Planet taking on AIDS and gang violence was totally worth sitting through the rest.

Captain Planet is probably one of the worst cartoons that everyone has seen. Sadly though, the hysteria over "climate change" might cause some people to resort to drastic measures... Like bringing back Captain Planet.

Yes, the show DOES suck but that doesn't mean a movie version wouldn't be hilarious. As bad as Captain Planet was you always got a good laugh out of it atleast.

A Captain Planet movie could be hilarious if it was self-parody. However, if Ted Turner has any involvement I doubt it'd happen, since the only reason he created Captain Planet in the first place was for propaganda. If Captain Planet were made into a movie outside the influence of Turner of the environmentalist agenda, it could stand a chance at actually being entertaining. Otherwise though, it'd probably end up just being preachy and annoying, but without the mask of nostalgic camp that makes the original so endearing.

Yeah, they'd often use them for something stupid. Wheeler's idiocy would set a park on fire, and Gi would have to use water power to douse the flames. Or it's not windy day, and wind is good for the environment..Linka would use wind and all was right!

They never used the rings to own evil's ass.
