Seven great men in history (and why you should hate them)

Knew most of it, but FDR is stretching it. It's almost as if they found 6 and need a 7th. A good one would have been Lincoln who didn't in fact free the slaves.

oh, Mr Edison.:(

Once King was assassinated, Hoover and his cronies started rumors that the shooter was the husband of one of King's many, many mistresses. To add insult to injury, Hoover presumably did all of this while wearing a sundress.

hahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Agreed on FDR, but even though I knew most of it, it was still very well written. Cracked is damn good.

FDR? What the fckin hell? Fck this author, he got some right but FDR proved he's just as bad as the people he's condemning.

INTERNET FIGURE: Daniel O'Brien

WHAT HE'S REMEMBERED FOR: 7 Great Men in History (And Why You Should Hate Them)

WHY YOU SHOULD HATE HIM: He hates people in wheelchairs and consider them to be helpless and somehow loose their intelligence and ability to lead a country, "Most people don't know this, but F.D.R couldn't ****ing walk. We'll let that sink in. Seriously, go ahead and do a Google Image search of F.D.R; that's not a chair he's sitting on. It's a chair with wheels. A wheelchair. A fcking wheelchair? It's a good thing the American people have wised up since then."

Did it cross your mind, perhaps, that he's being facetious?

With all the other ones he pointed something out that is relevant, with FDR he chose to make fun of his handicap.

Interesting page....

( omg they have a forum? lets get otta here)

Kidding!!!
(Zing!!).

And I dont see the problem with the Gandhi thing. He didn't know about the Holocaust, and from his perspective, Nazi Germany wasn't really that different from Britain or France. The only thing they had on Germany was they didn't provoke white-on-white violence. It's all about ****ing up the coolies:up:

I really hope he was joking about the FDR thing. If not then...

I have said it many times if it wasn't for killing thousands of jews. Hitler was awesome. Sadly he just had to be nuts as well.:csad:

He totally was. It was pretty obvious. I don't think I've ever seen a list on Cracked that didn't have that one entry that was for the sole purpose of making a joke in poor taste.

He forgot Richard the Lionhearted, who spent more time abroad fighting in crusades than, you know, *governing the country*. Also, he probably didn't even speak any English, despite being the King of England.

that was a cool read. i wonder why he kept his wife chained up in the basement though... more than likely something to with the devil and/or god.
