...Just curious, but if a couple states in the North declare a natural disaster...what happens to the election??? It can't be canceled...too much money, would the election be push back a month?

For the love of god! Please dont let that happen. Im not sure i can take another month of this.

A national election has never been postponed for any reason. Not even the civil war stopped elections so i dont see a hurricane stopping it.

I'm watching this video on Fox of a reporting driving through Lower Manhattan and it's pitch black because of the blackout. It really is a ghost town because that whole area was evacuated.

I haven't lost power yet, thought most of NYC already has. :(

Is this the end of the world?
No, but from the looks and sounds of it, you would think it was. There's just been this feeling in the environment since yesterday that makes it feel like you're in one of those end of the world movies.

Anybody got a pic of the construction site at WTC? The Weather Channel was showing it and the whole site is going under....it looks like friggin' Atlantis....:(

Eyewitness News studio in NYC has lost power! I work in that building. However, I'm starting to get the sense that I might not be back in the city this week...

I just saw that! Do you know where they're located?

Well, be safe until it blows over. It would be moot to say that to you guys though.

66th and Columbus.
Scaring me! I know pretty much everything below 39th is out of power, but the idea that it's starting to move upwards is scary. I don't want to be out of power. :(

I live in Florida. So for the first & probably only time. Haha to the rest of the world

I know some people in the Bronx who are already out of power or are having their lights flicker, so that's scaring me because that's where I am.

I don't blame you! I lost power for two weeks after Irene last year. I can't imagine losing power that long in the city.

Eyewitness News is back up!
